Thank you, genuinely found it really helpful to hear with the snare bleed as well, the D112 is beautiful for a slightly hazy vintage vibe that doesn't bring out anything harsh in the snare or the presence frequencies of the kick drum

The snare bleed tells everything. Beta52 sounds like a salt shaker, Sennheiser sounds very snappy and bright, and the AKG has some beefy mids.

VERY VERY interesting. I'm really finding that in this test, where I usually would go for the 52, I'm leaning more toward the 602. Crazy! Thanks for your work!!

it seems like the 52 has a more present low end to the other two but maybe its just the speakers I am hearing them on!

The D112 has no electronics, the Beta 52 a moderate filter and the e602II the most aggressive filter. I use mostly this trick for the kick: ua-cam.com/video/HLqdDl9mFj0/v-deo.html

52a not enough attack, or at least not bright enough
