📌 What a shame. After dealing with getting my Subaru Impreza stolen not too long ago and now this. The car is in a much safer place now, but the violation of thieves taking things is very frustrating. I'll plan to spend some time cleaning this up before the body work restoration begins. We are just currently waiting on the paint booth atm. Stay tuned for more on this car. Sorry for the wait.

100 year jail time for these bastards
hits all too close to home, i had my integra stolen from me a few years ago, and my friend his civic stolen a week ago, recovered the same day but with no wheels and his quick release gone. I've been paranoid about stuff like this ever since i bought my eg. i highly recommend getting a ghost lock kit, its not visible to the eye, and i keep track of it with my phone. and in case someone steals it, i just cut power to the fuel pump remotely. best of luck! hopefully this doesn't happen again
so sorry that happened to you and your friend. its terrible that us honda guys and gals have to worry so much about getting our cars stolen. I agree, doing all the things to deter thieves is gonna be massive in keeping the car around. sounds like the EG is in good hands 🙌🏽
Take off the DOHC VTEC badge, pull the fuse for the power locks, re-route the hood release cable through the firewall from the fender well
oh no! i am always worried about my 95 Civic being stolen while at a shop. my civic is bone stock and very clean condition.
I dont blame you, its hard to find a good EG these days
Let's be honest. It's a stick shift. There's a 3% chance the carjacker can drive it. You're lucky they didn't gut the parts.
Most of the people who steal these cars can drive manual
Honda fixed the issue with being able to unlock the cars with the power lock switch. At least on my 98 civic which has the same mechanism you have to pull on the door handle and push the lock button up at the same time. Had to go in the passenger side the one time I locked my keys in it.
love that Bentegra
bentegra 🔛🔝
Aww man what a sad thing ppl do to others property 😢 hope you guys can keep it protected and safe until the paint booth becomes functional, but other than that great video! Looking forward to see it when it's fully restored!
I had some steal my 98 Maxima and they had their sweet old time with it, completely destroyed it. Lost my modded iPod Classic and some nice speakers
really sorry to hear that 😢
Any old honda key can open that door by just shaking it up an down an turning it.. my gsr got stolen an they crashed it into a fire hydrant i miss that car everyday
Very sad to hear that, amazing car though I will always love those old Acuras
That’s my fear with my EK hatchback! I plan on getting it repainted but I’m gonna ask the shop to make sure it stays locked inside their shop/parking lot locked. That split moment it’s parked on the street, it’s gonna get stolen. 🙁
noo im so sorry bendaga 😔
appreciate you bro
@@bendaga love u man 🙏
Can’t have shit in Washington 😭
Blame the Commieformianstan refugees for this.
BABEEEE ITS BENDAGA!!!!
GET DA SNACKZZ AND LETS WATCH!!!
‼️⁉️‼️🍔🌭🌮🌯🗣️📣
I have that JDi Ghost Key system in my 1996 LS, yeah you loose some nostalgia and originality with the rig, but the peace of mind is nice. I’m going to put the lock cylinder back in and relocate the start button though, that clamshell rattles a bunch without the screws in the bottom to keep it still.
man thats why i only take my 97 ls sport when i know im next to it like car meets or dates but not when im in town doing errands n shi stupid theifs mfs dont got nothing to do!
I feel for you man, it can make you uneasy if its left in certain areas
the PlayStation 5 can easily be replaced I don't think that car can anymore
Your friend can install a kill switch instead :))
It's the worst!! I've had my civic stolen 2s and because of that I keep it stock now... It's a shame I won't even upgrade the stereo...
😔
Me personnaly id start adding bullet proof glass 😭
Put a tracker in it
Exactly why I refuse to modify my ek and always keep it locked in my back yard. I have trust issues with people. Rather have my car with an immobilized in front of the house
😢
:(
Use the JDI products they are very worth
excited to put one in the EK, hoping to do one in the gsr as well
Sucks if you have something nice there is someone looking to take it
From you
how this happen multiple times
was bought as a theft recovery, then it got broken into again. 90's honda ownership in a nutshell...
@@bendaga ah ok
Ok ok ok now I'm confused is it your car or not. Sorry I'm dum😅
yea lucked out. couldve been way worse
that's an bad person who wanted to stole it
definitely
Definitely don't keep anything in it. Only makes sense to break in if there's visible goods to steal
100%
I have a car nobody wants to steal because of its ugliness. Nissan Mucra
Move out of California
Had my ecu stolen the first week of owning my integra . Sucks that people can’t work for their own stuff . 🥲
Scumbag kids is what those thieves are, druggies, junkies and wannabe racers.
