What a nifty piece! Literally 24 little jewels. 🎻🎹 💎 Cui has never gotten the attention that has been lavished on his fellow members of the Mighty Handful. A pity, as his music has such wit and grace. Thanks for posting this. Cheers! 👍
Where do you get these pieces from? You have very uncommon music
They are mostly submissions or rare gems, such as this, that I've come across.

Cui had the ability to crystallise a mood perfectly. Sounds like mainstream European ie French music of the 19thC
After all he was half French. Not surprisingly.
The only one I'm familiar with is 'Orientale,' courtesy of a piano solo transcription in the John Thompson piano study series. All of the other ones are quite nice, too.
