    I don't know where you are, but, I think that 1 1V V thing is American. I think for beginners it would be better to just name the chords, at least it's not so confusing when one is starting out to learn chords etc, much easier, but then I'm not in the US. This is not a criticism by the way, , just my opinion from a learner, without ever having played a 6 string guitar. As a learner I tried to understand that 1 1V V thing and it's a pig breakfast for me, but then I'm of the geriatric age I suppose.

      Hi and thanks. It is confusing for beginners but I IV and V are common music notation and I had a request to explain it, which I've done in another video. I thought I'd try to drop it into a few more videos so it doesn't seem quite so confusing, so I'm sorry if it's had the opposite effect. I'm in the UK by the way : ). Thanks for the feedback.
