Can't believe Thrustmaster are just making this Bt Led compatible with PS4. I really wanted this on my PC! Very bad marketing practice and such a HUGE missed opportunity my god! Especially as that rim came out bundled on the PC Racer only in the past!

What rotation do you have your TM open wheel set at for F1 please? This is a great video and I’ll be sure to buy the digital add on for the wheel.
I am honestly not sure what rotation I had it on for this video. I typically prefer a smaller degree of rotation for open wheel racing though.

Hey bro, I need some help regarding wheel rotation.
I have a t300rs base with closed wheel rim. Thinking of getting an f1 style or open wheel. BUT Here are my thought... hoping you can help.
Ps4 pro and Gt Sport.
So with closed wheels using 1080 or 900° rotation is easy to manage. Since there is an endless loop for you to just rotate the wheel until full lock.
Ideally with f1 wheels you only want about 240° to 400°. This is partially because you want less travel on the wheel for more movement of the wheels iow, more sensitive. But also to accommodate the fact that physically you arms cant hold onto the wheel past say 360°. Your arms will cross over and lock themselves which would be the human physical limit.
How does gt sport manage the f1/ open wheels to accommodate this? Does this mean if I have an open wheel or F1 wheel that I will have to turn it 900° for full turn like its a closed loop wheel?

In control panel set 360° rotation for F1 2010-2021

If you are on console you can change your rotation for the wheel by in game in f1 games atleast, if you're on PC tho you can just go to control panel of thrustmaster and change the wheel rotation to 360
Hold Mode and directional pad right for 1 sec an release.
Base led will flash=
1x=180 to 6x=1080 degress
Default on console is 1080.
Press and hold Mode plus D pad right 2x quick in a row (while Holding them For 1 sec at least)
And youre at 360 degress.

Note you may Need to Set Rotation again When you restart console or game or base. Its Not saved permanent.
Gran Turismo resets this maybe with every race because the game recalibrates the wheel all the time.
Hey just a heads up GTsport and GT7 automatically soft lock wheel rotations so if it's a F1 Car the rotation matches real life.

Excatly. Anyway you can check on thrustmaster website, for which servo base the add-on fits !! You to unscrew the plastic rim, remove standard wheel, place the new one, and screw again the plastic rim. The screw below the wheel it’s only for safe!!
You can't remove the wheel on the TMX.
Do u get the led thing, paddles and wheel connect thing with the wheel or do u need to buy those things separate
The paddles come with it but the led lights are separate and are called bt led lights

I’ve plugged in all the cables and the wheel rotates when the ps5 starts up, but the light on the wheel base i red and i dont know how to Connect it when i’ve opened up F1 22. can someone help?

No. You need to have TX or TS models.

No, the TMX’ wheel is fixed. The TX is a great base with even better feedback if you want to use this!

Depends how rough you are and how many hours you use it I would say if you hold very tight and play every day then id give it 6-8 months on the high side before you notice a difference
