Emma, I love how this piece has morphed into a new creation, how the cool grey becomes the undertone in the water. The “fins” of yellow/grey are sticking up for a reflective texture. The idea of sewing the yellow fabric and lace down (with the scrunching up) will add a beautiful texture as well. I look forward to Wednesday’s with Emma.

This is turning out to be a really interesting piece! I love the shiny yellow pieces reflecting the light and how you've blended the colours - looks so natural. Look forward to seeing the next step ❤

Hi Emma, just an idea for you to think about.
I made a large extension table that fits around the machines arm. It’s great because a large piece of work sits on the extension table without dropping off the edge of the machine.
By also covering the piece with net before you start to embellish it reduces the need to pin all the pieces together.
The net want become embellished to your work.
I love to add the different textured wools and fibres as it creates much more interest .
    Great fun ,it’s playtime.

Hi Margaret, what a fab idea! That's very clever of you! Add yes, I do use net sometimes, I love that it adds in with wee bits when you really embellish it!! Embellishers are just magical really aren't they! x
