- This is a quick how to video on removing your CCV filter and installing the CCV reroute from SPE Motorsports and also using their internal catch can! I shot this video while I was doing other work on the truck so it is not a complete install but covers most of it. Its a great kit been on for a long time!
I bought one that was $80 and honestly like it a lot better than this design, it extends out over the fuel lines with a 90 so the hose isn’t rubbing on those fuel lines or anything around there
The one on my personal truck has a 90 also but there is a reason they designed it like this. Having it go over the brake booster gives it an up hill slope for like the first 10 inches of the hose which greatly reduces the chance of oil making it way out of the hose and leaking on the ground. I have the one with the 90 on mine and the internal catch can but once in a great while after I’m pulling my loaded trailer I will get a couple drops in my garage. I think if my hose was like this kit it wouldn’t do that.
Yeah mine goes over the break booster too, personally I don’t mind a couple oil drops but I could definitely see how that would drive people nuts😂
