Nice setup. You should add a flexible magnetic pad. Super handy to hold your tools or hardware you are pulling out. I throw a ziploc over mine to keep everything nice and clean.
The grime buildup is exactly why I don't have those magnetic pads
Thought i was the only one that used ammo cans for my mobile setup haha
I tried so many toolboxes but ammo cans have worked the best so far.
@@TheUA-camMechanic yep, mainly use em for my small scanners, test lights, batt tester, and i have another one for batteries and flashlights, and one will all the socket and ratchets, i like that theyre waterproof too a tool bag would get soggy if you got caught in the rain while working on a job!
Cool review, thanks for sharing your info! I'm into doing home maintenance and DIY was looking at the gearwrench ratcheting set already for the full set.
Use my link if you're going to buy it please! That helps me!
Good video. You're not trying to be cool and screaming and in general acting like a dumb-ass. I even learned something, the tip about spraying wd40 on electrical connectors for getting them to open easily. Good job.
Thank you!
Too many tubers scream in an attempt to justify why they're right
Honestly, the 3 ton pittsburgh low profile jack looks to be a very close copy of the 3 ton daytona low profile jack. It's really solid and never even hinted at a failure, but yeah I'm going to pick up a daytona when it goes on sale for the color haha.
This video was made before the new Pittsburgh Jack existed.
@@TheUA-camMechanic Those jacks have been around a while now, why did you wait so long to upload?
This is a 53-minute video that got downloaded, recut and re-uploaded last night. You never saw it before because it was 53 minutes and ain't nobody got time for that. Those new Pittsburgh jacks look like copies of the Daytona Jack which were accused for years of being a copy of a snap-on jack and are in fact made in the same factory as snap-on jack's I believe. Those old Pittsburgh jacks failed on me so many times though. Never in a catastrophic way but still.
@@TheUA-camMechanic I see what you mean, this is my first time seeing your channel so that makes sense. But yeah Pittsburgh jacks have gotten on par with Daytonas afaik.
Daytonas, Pittsburgh, snapon, husky, whatever, they all are definitely made in the same factory. The only difference in manufacturing is probably quality control on the more expensive ones, but even then only slightly. Snapon IMO is the biggest rip off in the tool industry, would never buy automotive tools from them at their stupid prices, like $1000 for a jack that is exactly the same as the daytona that's way less expensive? Very stupid purchase if you ask me.
I have played with plenty of snap-on jacks that didn't feel as smooth as my Daytona Jack. Like and subscribe!
They make a tool called the Jack Rod , turning Jack's into a stable stand .
Copy that
Still a good idea to put jack stands. More points of contact = more stable.
