- In a post to Truth Social, Donald Trump accepted President Joe Biden's challenge to two presidential debates hosted by news organizations. The request comes as Biden has formally informed the Commission on Presidential Debates that he will not participate in its previously scheduled fall debates.

CNN's townhall with Trump and Caitlan Collins was a DISASTER. With the exception of Briana Keilar, CNN's current anchors are not up to the challenge of moderating a Presidential debate and maintaining order that these debates deserve. I agree and perhaps these debates should be brought forward so as to be before the completion of the New York trial. Despite his bravado, it is unlikely Trump will testify at that trial and he is sure to carelessly make self incriminating statements in any debate. As I understand it, the prosecutors can use such against him in evidence.
