    Hexham Works 0-4-0T ‘Wendy’
A freelance loco, using Roundhouse components. Roundhouse ‘Billy’ chassis and ‘Lady Anne Boiler’ with many mods. ‘Henry’ Body kit from Mikes Models/Simply 7/8ths.

Nice to hear you Rob! Lovely railway, lots of detail and as you said, believable. If you are visiting the L&B anytime come and say hello to the team on the 16mm garden railway up by the engine shed most Saturdays 😉

Hi Roger, thanks for your kind comments. I've been following the garden railway at Woody Bay with great interest. It's a fantastic additional attraction for the L&B. I hope to visit soon!

The commentary added interest. Usually I’d rather just hear the trains. I was originally captured to see if Sir Topham Hat’s morning stagger would result in a fall, and will we find out if he’s still drunk from the night before. By the time it became apparent we would never know, the Narrator’s golden voice had walked us off to the real story without us even noticing. At the end I was ashamed of my shallowness regarding Sir Topham Hat. Then he came staggering back. He was still drunk and he did fall. Now I want to help him get home before he anyone sees and embarrasses him.

Hi Rob Thanks for answering my questions about the GRS small quarry Hunslets recently I now have one, very nice little model. I'm wondering if I can also ask you about your track bed and how it's constructed? I take it it's filcris board on top? I'm wondering what it's supported by though, Is there a ladder frame or similar underneath it?

Excellent video. I watched the first part several times and paused on the pictures to look at some of the details. Given I live beside the Pacific Ocean in British Columbia, Canada, I don’t get to see much British rolling stock in the flesh, so to speak.
I have been poking around Swift Sixteen’s website and am attracted to some of their kits. I have never seen or handled a Swift Sixteen railcar. Yours look great. I did note some wheel noise. How would you rate them?

      Hi Terry,
The Swift Sixteen kits are excellent and can be built very quickly. They run very well, I think my axels just need an oil!

Lovely video as always Rob,inspiring stuff! Can I ask please what make is your headlamp on your Peckett? Looking for something similar for mine, most commercial lamps available seem a little too large for the Peckett....
    Many thanks
