You are probably the most consistent person i have seen on youtube with Arknights music reaction, i really appreciate your content and taking the time to react to these amazing songs!
The whole OST of Hortus De Escapismo is so good, can't wait for next Laterano event! It's probably going to be the craziest in terms of music, I bet everything I own on this!
i hope it ties in with the seaborn plotline since it was teased in hortus with aulus and. there was some speculation with us getting a thorns alter and that'd probably fit with an event that ties the laterano/seaborn plotlines together
@@voltorian-games Laterano has several directions it could go for another event: more about the Law, the Seaborn link or political-ish given the events of Guide Ahead
tbh the thing about this boss is that you don't actually fight him. He's basically a normal civilian guy who's leading the other civilians and himself to their deaths and you have to protect them until he's gone the story of the event, though, it goes hard: a group of the angel race and the demon race (and a few regular animal-people) are living in peace in a ruined monastery when an emotionless angel (+2 others) is sent to follow up on a previous group's investigation. One civilian angel gets her gun repaired by one of the investigators, ends up accidentally shooting and killing her best friend, the people start panicking and turning on each other the main investigator tries to figure out why the emotions are flaring and relevant, another one calls for backup with the intent on massacring every demonic civilian, the civilians confront racism and how half their population won't be allowed in the angel town for asylum, a Borg-like sea monster hivemind tries invading the place, the priest plans on burning down the entire monastery during a service because years ago he and others there let people die by turning them away, things fall apart, self-sacrifice happens, and then... ...the boss, a simple gardener, confronts the emotionless angel about why things ended up this way as he (the gardener) tries to blow everything up. The angel stops the explosion but is unable to stop the gardener's death, and...he actually does feel a pang of emotion for the first time in his life and it colors his outlook during the next event he shows up in. So, while the boss is technically just a civilian gardener who doesn't even fight (his enemy description is "Clement Dubois, the most ordinary gardener. What is held inside his hands is plain soil, but it is too infertile that the flowers that once grew here no longer bloom.") the actual boss of the story is discrimination and the tragedy of how unforgiving the universe is.
still suggesting "the opening" boss theme from the babel event o: the lobby theme from the hortus event "不存在的樂園" is also very nice. it's a lot more calming the enemies from this event aren't super threatening. they're mostly bandits and wildlife (since the setting is mostly in a rundown church) but the main difficulty is keeping civilians alive, since they have a panic meter. they take damage over time and run around when it's full, and because they're in a rundown church, there are holes in the ground and debris (indiana jones rocks lol) falling from above the boss actually isn't much different. you can't fight him and he doesn't attack or anything, but he can manipulate civilians to certain areas of the stage also like the informational notes on the bottom left
Yes please the information for music jargon would help immensely, since im not a music guy but arknights has taught me to start enjoying different genres. Thank you for your work
Love the useful popups!!! But also wow my favorite theme from hortus de escapisimo! Its such a bop and makes keeping the npc civilians alive tolerable xD
the enemies are not really that big, They're just Raiders or Bandits, but the worst part of this event is babysitting the civilians.
Also stone balls
Yeah the story is also soo dark "the HEAD" bro 😢
"happy x-mas" arknights event

Yeah, Laterano! They started with great Guide Ahead OST (with boss "Martyr"), continued with great Hortus OST, now we wait for third great OST!

I am fine with Laterano as long as Andoain the Martyr is involved LMAO

Churches be Acting Different in Arknights
Umm... Which church are we talking about? The one that gives you free unlimited sea food buffet, or the one that gives you a gun when you turn 18?
@@Ez3uwsacrq1m Said like that, they both sound awesome XD
Which one? Church of the Guns or Church of the Deep?
Now we just need 潛在危機 "Guide Ahead battle" for Laterano combo. (Maybe both 聖城日常 Guide Ahead lobby and 不存在的樂園 Hortus lobby too)
It’s that Church Chillstep that gets us going
"it feels like the scale is off the charts, like the big bad was literally huge".
Meanwhile the actual boss: just a depress gardener.
@@Ez3uwsacrq1m tbf the so-called "big bad" is Laterano itself, the gardener is just a dude

I recommend listening to the lobby theme of this event
@@virgondust you gotta specify.
Bro means the lobby theme of Lone Trail, don’t know if you had done so yet.
Oh wait, you meant Hortus de escapismo. 😂
@@InsanityoftheSanities yes lol
Oh hey! My suggestion got through! That honestly made my day!
fuckin bop, love erik
also yeah it'd be great to have those little info pop ups
7:47 The big bad in this event is either a depressed gardener or a petite, somewhat mind controlling girl. Nothing gigantic
I remember feeling extremely tired in this event from all the head banging.

The new idea of term explaining is great, with this you could make it a bit deeper since you may add explaination.
Love the info pop-ups! Really good addition to your videos in terms of approachability.

When the priest is also the DJ.
Just this once, the only badass is the player. But... strength of arms alone will not protect the people under your watch from themselves.
The real battle in this event is keeping dumb civilians out of danger also the "boss" is a gardener 😅
This is incredible, you should check out Behemoth's theme Wrecking Storm. As some Linkin Park in there.
could you listen to the boss and battle theme for dorothies vision, their so very interesting especially the boss theme
Live the reactions as always! Would love to see a reaction to Underneath the Spire from AK :) keep up the awesome reactions
