Btw, Arknights events ARE permanent (mostly). Some experimental gamemodes are one-time, and some mini-events have their stories saved but not the stages, but besides that, everything is available. Typically what happens is that event first releases -> rerun 1 year later -> permanent after another year. However, medals for events cannot be earned once they become permanent.
It's astounding how much permanent content the game has at this point. We have 14 chapters and 25 side stories, each of which is easily 4-8 hours on average to read/play through. That's a couple hundred hours right there. Added on top are three roguelike modes, and you can honestly sink 50+ hours into each of them before you unlock and see everything and get all the endings. I don't think it'd be an exaggeration to say that there's at least 300 hours of free game content at this point.

@@GHOULSXO I'd highly recommend the 2024 Ambience Synesthesia, it really was quite something. I enjoyed the ones from prior years, but they absolutely brought their A++ game this year. I don't think any of the other concerts demonstrated the sheer variety of their music the way 2024 did - it literally tours from region to region in Terra highlighting the songs from the different genres around the world. I think it is the most impressive game concert I've ever seen. The audio mixing is also the best of any of them - it's not always easy to perfectly capture a live performance of this scale but they did great.
