Seeing that genisys makes it on this list and not dark fate said so much that dark fate is still a decent movie. Well decent enough to not make it on this list
The Before Trilogy is my favourite movie series of all time. I loved getting to see Jesse and Celine mature over the years. Perhaps we'll eventually get a fourth installment, "Before Twilight", exploring their elder years?
Terminator: perfect on its own
Terminator 2: obviously the best one
T3 mediocre great but with a depressing ending thats done right
T salvation: its good as a war movie
T genisys: too many filler plots, miscasting, and a flanderized T800 who went from a serious serial killer/protector to a "funny" comedian. Good actions here and there
T dark fate: fixed what genisys messed up and went back to square one. Slow paced yes, but the villain is still super effective since t800-tx and not generic. Action scenes are well choreographed
Dark fate sucked too
@@cedricbrookins4851 they just hate it bc they kill John. To me it's understandable given how Sarah really hates machine and the only way to do that is if they kill John to fuel her hatred more. Yes. I'm counting her giving respect to t800 in T2 still counts as her starting to like machines
Best: Mad Max: Fury road
Worst: Jaws: The revenge.

Finding the line between keeping enough of an original movie but not just remaking it is an art form not many get right. Good picks, so many bad sequels to choose from.

In the Spaceballs, they said there could be a sequel called Spaceballs 2: The search for more money, but that never came to be. Same with the sequel to Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
Jaws 3 killed the franchise before Jaws The Revenge did and was even worse.
Some worked, some don't, yet even in the internet, folks love to complain when they be a sequel or prequel. 🤷

*Theres reasons why sequels shouldn’t happen, and this is one of them. So unnecessary and makes a franchise look weak in the end.*

"New Police Story" (2004)
You do know that New Police Story in 2004 was a reboot? Not a same continuity from the OG 4 Police Story

Killed My Franchise RED 2 (2013) Such a promising franchise ended like that

Should of been Terminator Dark Fate, not Genisys on here. It was Dark Fate that looks like its killed that iconic franchise.

I honestly think that the same comedic-notoriety that happened with "The Room" is going to/is happening to 'Batman & Robin'

Alien 3 didn’t kill the franchise due to FOX’s meddling behind the scenes, it’s just the AVP spinoffs and the prequels just didn’t connect with audiences. Thankfully, we’re finally getting a new Alien movie with Fede Alvarez

ik animated movies aren't on here but toy story works for both😂 2 and 3 worked and made it a perfect trilogy then 4 ruined and killed the franchise

Budget cuts
I actually enjoy "Batman and Robin" for the campy, over the top movie it was. I like popping it in sporadically, and get a huge kick out of the scenery chewing performances.

What do you Think of Batman Returns [with Danny Devito as Penguin]?
Why is the Transformers live action sequels not on this list?! Why?! Because:
- Revenge of the Fallen - Few Razzies, an absolute disaster waiting to happen
- Dark of the Moon - Je ne sais quoi, probably the Battle of Chicago being a Michael Bay Wet Dream of explosions and destruction
- Age of Extinction - Mark Wahlberg (aka the guy who ruined Transformers) as the new protagonist, characters are either mediocre, dull, and/or bland
- The Last Knight - Lazy storyline, focused more on the human characters rather than the Cybertronians themselves, lazy editing, killed the main franchise as a whole before the reboot with Transformers: Bumblebee

People are gonna hate me, but Batman and Robin is a guilty pleasure movie of mine. I watched it a lot when I was little so it holds a special place in my heart.
And you can just tell Arnold Schwartzenagger was having fun 😂
Blade Runner 2049 is a great movie but let’s not pretend it also didn’t kill the franchise. If it was a huge hit we’d be talking about a sequel… kind of like the original, so who knows maybe in 40 years.

You couldn’t possibly be talking about The Crow from 1994 with Brandon Lee? That wasn’t a sequel at all to begin with. But those direct to video sequels, none of which I’ve ever seen, those you can trash.

Anyone who loved mad max and true understands the movie hates what they did in fury road. He wasn't even the main character them dive focus of max was completely destroyed.

Superman 4 would’ve been good if the studio had more money.
I highly doubt it. Even if the visual effects were better, the writing, especially with the anti-nuclear war message and the motivation of the villain Nuclear Man, would still be criticized.
Batman and Robin is actually a fun movie.
