That has no place in bike lanes. It makes use of gaps in the law in order to abuse bike infrastructure. It is painfully obvious the contribution of the "rider" to the propulsion system must be minimal.
@@cityshuttleltd And what is the difference? You still need to carry the extra weight of batteries that could power the motor instead of running ads screens.
It's cool, and has many uses. Best for deliveries and taxi. Additional uses: - tourist rickshaw - family "car" in urban areas - ambulance/medical checks in city centre - fast-food stall - library - mini school bus - some campers would love it improvements: - make the trailer detachable , so you can swap them or ride solo - handlebars are too wide, hands will get cold or scrape, make handlebars narrow, adjustable or movable - add hooks and bags behind the driver - in winter add detachable doors and floor for the driver - in warm climates like Spain, detach a lot of the cabin, no need for the front wind-shield - add a sun shield, or wear a hat and sunglasses, the wind-shield may glare in the sun - any way to reverse with pedals? Or is it just get out and push back manually or Flintstone style with feet? - have an old-style bicycle bell, as well as a speaker chime, how about gentle audio adds? - any spare wheels? advice: - approaching a junction on red light leave some space in front for pedestrian crossing, this vehicle is so long that some pedestrians would prefer to pass it dangerously in front on the road. - also because it's so long - slow down to let other bikes overtake you easily, - on very windy days, don't ride them at all or put some good ballast on the floor. - make sure parking brakes are good If there would be a lot of these it could actually help cyclists, the city would add more paths.
The negativity on display in the comments prior to mine is the reason we haven't advanced further. Good ideas don't get a chance to develop and mature because they're mocked and slandered by those with no better ideas. The next time you get a delivery, take a look in the truck or van and see if it's packed to the brim or 80% empty. If you want to cart steel get a truck. For short distance document and parcel deliveries this is a great idea, the sort of thing that should be encouraged and supported. Imagine if it was encouraged and supported . . . in a few years' time it'll be fully enclosed with air-conditioning and heated massage seats, be able to carry heavier loads, and travel safely at open road speeds. Increased functional capacity. Optimism brings rewards.

Let's be honest. The power you COULD have to go further miles is wasted on TV screens for advertising. And you're talking about air-conditioning?!! You got ANY IDEA of the power consumption of air-conditioning? I ACTUALLY live off grid and memorise the wattage of EVERYTHING and you can absolutely FORGET air-conditioning. I mean that would power this thing with 2 TRAILERS for the power draw the air-conditioning ALONE would take. And who the hell needs air-conditioning in England? It doesn't get hot enough there to justify ANY air-conditioning. It isn't being mocked by people with different ideas, just people who UNDERSTAND that MILEAGE is the most important thing. Having been a courier, I know you don't want this thing wasting charge time and $ on air-conditioning and TV screens. Courier vehicles are MINIMAL because mileage is the main concern. You haven't ran a business unlike me OR have any clue about wasting precious battery power and it's very obvious.
Everything is nice and good about this, how ever the driver must have a license for driving this and of course a C+E license because the vehicle is used for deliveries so you need to have the proper training, NOT LIKE 1:12 when he cut the other vehicle and this is happening very much and because the vehicle is ARTICULATED !! Have the proper papers and INSURANCE and every thing is ok !!
that looks like a tax-evading mock-up of what a van should just do
It evades taxes how? You really have no idea what you're talking about.

thats the idea!
Get more of these on the streets, and we have a nice Mumbai Tuk Tuk vibe!
And we aren't talking about the bike!
We dont want Mumbai, Import the third world....
0:57 Mounting the pavement towards pedestrians.
And waste the battery on LCD screens, not on the motor. Brilliant.
Nah, I ran a pedicab company in Boston and we made $20k per year on advertisements.
LED* screens habve their own separate power supply

Impractical without wing mirrors!
It has them, electronic driver has two screens
Lol. This is fun, it hogs up the bike lane.
At least this one inconveniences both vehicles and bikes 😂

call a doctor?
@@cityshuttleltd if the wind blows this vehicle over and a lorry drives over it because of this, a doctor can't help
Does seem like it would be a bit top heavy with a very thin wheelbase.

Could do a passenger version?
We have a passenger vehicle called GECO...check out our videos
we are going backwards
no...we are clearly going forwards!
Sure, but if you're going to then tell me it costs 50k the basic model, I'll pass and go buy something from China.
Good luck to you
