Hey Monaro Travels, I've had a question I've been wanting to ask a Monaro owner for a while. A relative of mine has a 5.7L Monaro with around 100k miles that's been sat for a while. They haven't touched it for around a year now and I'm thinking of striking them an offer. Although it's a different model, would you reccomend this car? Hi, glad you’re liking the channel. I would recommend these cars if you like old school, simple, fun cars that don’t have all the modern trickery. They have an almost agricultural feel to them, nothing like a modern car but they are so much fun to drive. Don’t worry about the mileage, look for rust on the front chassis rails, sills and along brake lines etc. some parts are getting harder to find but there are many dedicated groups and parts suppliers for these with a very enthusiastic community on Facebook. Defo get one. You gonnie love it. You will get parts and there will be a mechanic to help you somewhere. People can keep 60 year old British built cars on the road so we can keep these going. I really think these are the next big modern classic. At the moment all the money is in that big sweet V8 but if it’s kept good it’s gonnie sky rocket. Aswell as road rocket. Especially if it’s red 💪🏻😜
