More testing of new equipment. Take a ride onboard my 500Bhp Monaro VXR for a short blast. I have a mic placed on the left and right of the car to give a better stereo sound to that big thumping V8 soundtrack and the dual exhausts. 3 Minutes of sweet pure LS2 Cam chopping on a warm engine. Is there a better engine sound? Look closely and you can see the car rocking as it chops away :) 3” dual exhaust all the way back gives a nice bass tone. Some revolutions at 2:00 ;) Follow me on instagram @monarotravels

Sounds awesome How much work and expense is involved to get it sounding like that. What are the pros and cons of doing it?
Thank you. Expense will vary depending on the components used but this has been roughly £2-3k. It has a Streetsweeper HT cam, sports cats with a dual H pipe 3" stainless exhaust. I've fitted valves to the exhaust before the rear silencers for the extra noise on tap. If you're fitting a cam then you need accompanying engine work such as valve springs, push rods, trunnions, timing chain etc. It adds up but it's still good value for what you get. Low speed drivability can be compromised with a very choppy cam but this one isn't too bad with a decent tune.
@MonaroTravels I'm only a few weeks Into monaro ownership, need a few things doing before any other work. I do ridiculously low daily mileage....probably not the best idea for me 🤣

Someone told me the C8 Z06 sounded better than a Vauxhall. I'm here to tell them that they're completely wrong.
I have very first seen this car in NFS Most Wanted 2005. I got always interested about this car. Found out that Pontiac and Vauxhall are same cars just they are owned by USA and Great Britain. In general they are same cars.
These cars are Holdens really. The USA and UK got them from Australia.

Like Mercedes with Maybach or Toyota with Lexus. The one thing I know that Pontiac don't produce anymore. Its company closed or went bancrupt etc.

@@OverNotHere there is a mic in the intake and another recording the exhaust. The exhaust mic is clipping though so got some new kit coming to improve that. Watch this space :)

Now if I’m correct as an owner of a limited edition cv8z Monaro. As there were 1600 - 1700 made We’re the gto just my car but changed too a 6 litre and a body kit Because when you google my car it comes up with 6-7 different names plus actually called a gto also I’m 70% sure
