For those in Recovery, skid row is right between the ears too 👍
Watch your Thoughts-they become your Words, watch your Words- they become your Actions, watch your Actions- they become your Habits, watch your Habits- they become your Character, watch your Character- It becomes your Destiny.
And it All begins with a thought.
I must admit that this is my biggest battle, and I must address it daily.

Ex 32:15-24, 30-34
Moses turned and came down the mountain
with the two tablets of the commandments in his hands,
tablets that were written on both sides, front and back;
tablets that were made by God,
having inscriptions on them that were engraved by God himself.
Now, when Joshua heard the noise of the people shouting,
he said to Moses, “That sounds like a battle in the camp.”
But Moses answered, “It does not sound like cries of victory,
nor does it sound like cries of defeat;
the sounds that I hear are cries of revelry.”
As he drew near the camp, he saw the calf and the dancing.
With that, Moses’ wrath flared up, so that he threw the tablets down
and broke them on the base of the mountain.
Taking the calf they had made, he fused it in the fire
and then ground it down to powder,
which he scattered on the water and made the children of Israel drink.
Moses asked Aaron, “What did this people ever do to you
that you should lead them into so grave a sin?”
Aaron replied, “Let not my lord be angry.
You know well enough how prone the people are to evil.
They said to me, ‘Make us a god to be our leader;
as for the man Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt,
we do not know what has happened to him.’
So I told them, ‘Let anyone who has gold jewelry take it off.’
They gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and this calf came out.”
On the next day Moses said to the people,
“You have committed a grave sin.
I will go up to the LORD, then;
perhaps I may be able to make atonement for your sin.”
So Moses went back to the LORD and said,
“Ah, this people has indeed committed a grave sin
in making a god of gold for themselves!
If you would only forgive their sin!
If you will not, then strike me out of the book that you have written.”
The LORD answered, “Him only who has sinned against me
will I strike out of my book.
Now, go and lead the people to the place I have told you.
My angel will go before you.
When it is time for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

Jesus proposed a parable to the crowds.
“The Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed
that a person took and sowed in a field.
It is the smallest of all the seeds,
yet when full-grown it is the largest of plants.
It becomes a large bush,
and the birds of the sky come and dwell in its branches.”
He spoke to them another parable.
“The Kingdom of heaven is like yeast
that a woman took and mixed with three measures of wheat flour
until the whole batch was leavened.”
All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables.
He spoke to them only in parables,
to fulfill what had been said through the prophet:
I will open my mouth in parables,
I will announce what has lain hidden from the foundation of the world.
“My Sacred Wounds are the remedy for the future. There is nothing else that can save them.”
What infinite riches are concealed within My Holy Wounds! Draw deeply from the Fount of Graces. You will never exhaust it. It will never dry up, just as My Love never dries up and My Mercy outlasts all things. Let every soul receive Healing in My Holy Wounds. For all, I was ready to Sacrifice My life; for all, I prayed to the Father for grace and reconciliation. To all I offer the Love of My Heart, and I will never cease to do so. Let no one be lost. @@NMDecember1 Ignoring Our Lady, (not this so-called Lady of Medjugorje that is a hoax) who is the Mother of God, and closest to God, would offend Jesus the Son of God, because, while Jesus was dying on the Cross, He said to his Mother, " Woman behold thy Son", then said to his disciple, " Son behold thy Mother" quotation from John 19:26-27. So we Catholic do not worship, but honour Our Lady, there is a big difference. By saying the Rosary earnestly daily, Our Lady intercede for us to Jesus her Divine Son, which Her Heart point to. Example of this is in John 2:1-5, is where Jesus Mother, was concerned. So that we Catholic pray to Our Lady, the Queen of Heaven.
@@anthonylm9113 I respect Mary as being a humble Godly woman who answered God's call to give birth to saviour but she is NOT our saviour and she herself said she was blessed but that is NOT an instruction to pray to her. She also admitted she was a sinner in need of a Saviour.
God as part of Truine God existed before she did, He is our creator, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End, God in flesh. Jesus referred to Mary as woman in one scripture, she was only earthly surrogate mother. Why do you think Jesus died on cross? Don't you see its salvation through Him alone? It's judgement seat of Christ not Mary, Saints and Jesus.

Hello Fr. Mark.
I've yet to see complaints improve any situation, all they seem to do is bring the complainer down.
(Lamentations 3:39) Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? (1 John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.The law or commandments of God are written in (Exodus 20). Unfortunately the 2nd and 4th commandments are not honored by the Catholic Church.
And also brings down those who hear the complaining! The opposite effect of giving praise or good instruction. Lessons I surely need to remember daily. St. Anne and St. Joachim, pray for us.
Thank you

106:19-20, 21-22, 23
R. (1a) Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
Our fathers made a calf in Horeb
and adored a molten image;
They exchanged their glory
for the image of a grass-eating bullock.
R. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
They forgot the God who had saved them,
who had done great deeds in Egypt,
Wondrous deeds in the land of Ham,
terrible things at the Red Sea.
R. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
Then he spoke of exterminating them,
but Moses, his chosen one,
Withstood him in the breach
to turn back his destructive wrath.
R. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
Alleluia
Jas 1:18
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
The Father willed to give us birth by the word of truth
that we may be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel
Mt 13:31-35
Nothing is impossible to Love. It can and will Fight for every Soul and Love will be Victorious!

I too needed this reminder & encouragement. Praying for NSW to be rid of COVID-19 very soon 🙏❤
Thank you, Father Mark! A much needed message for many of us, I'm sure, as it's so easy to fall into complaining even if just about small things. Continued prayers for you and all of our clergy. God bless!
Afternoon father. Blessings from uk.
Memorial of Saints Joachim and Anne, Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Lectionary: 401
Reading I
Ex 32:15-24, 30-34
Moses turned and came down the mountain
with the two tablets of the commandments in his hands,
tablets that were written on both sides, front and back;
tablets that were made by God,
having inscriptions on them that were engraved by God himself.
Now, when Joshua heard the noise of the people shouting,
he said to Moses, “That sounds like a battle in the camp.”
But Moses answered, “It does not sound like cries of victory,
nor does it sound like cries of defeat;
the sounds that I hear are cries of revelry.”
They said to me, ‘Make us a god to be our leader;
as for the man Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt,
we do not know what has happened to him.’
So I told them, ‘Let anyone who has gold jewelry take it off.’
They gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and this calf came out.”
On the next day Moses said to the people,
“You have committed a grave sin.
I will go up to the LORD, then;
perhaps I may be able to make atonement for your sin.”

Good evening Fr❣️ from India 🇮🇳
"Only the Cross of Christ sheds light on the path of this life.. God is in the detached heart, in the silence of prayer, in the voluntary sacrifice to pain. God is in the Cross and as long as we do not love the Cross we will not see him, or feal him. If the world knew...but they will not know; they are very busy in their interests; their hearts are very full of things that are not God". St Rafael Arnaiz Baron (1911-1938)
Many priests & pastors never mention anything on spiritual warfare or the reality of the devil/ demons!
Guess they think the devil/demons got old & are sitting in wheelchairs.
If they read their Bibles they would find out the devil/demons are out in force attacking people who have opened the door to sinning.
Teens at least some of them are into drugs the occult sexual sin & they are wide open to get spiritually attacked …
Shame on priests and pastors who never mention the reality of the demonic deceiving lying agenda that is come on the world !!!
God is God but Satan does have power & that power mainly comes on those who are in sin.
Thank God for Fr Goring who takes Ephesians ch 6 seriously and a place called hell !!!
Thank you father Goring , I love your short videos on wisdom of saints. God bless you and your team.
Fr. Mark. I never fail to learn something new everyday from your videos. I never knew about Saint Maryam, but I will now try to bear my discomforts without complaints.

Well said! I’m publishing a weekly UA-cam video on episodes from the life of Don Bosco, entitled ST JOHN BOSCO by JOE ZAMMIT. In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him. Thank you
Thank you so much for another great talk Father Mark! God bless you!

Ops press accidentally, I mean St Meriiam of Bethlehem. Yes, I am guilty also of complaining to our Lord specially what’s happening nowadays in our world and also in the hierarchy. But it’s nice to know, that I was doing sometimes the right way which when I am tempted I really offer it for the souls in purgatory and for the conversion of other people especially the person who is tempting me. Amen. God loves us all. 😇
Please tell me where is it mentioned in the Bible that purgatory exists?
@@mec325 In the books that Luther took out from the original Bible
I knew an African priest who would say he was complaining to God for me. He meant he was praying to God for me and about me.
@@clare_jordin Since you seem familiar with these books, can you give me some references to prove that purgatory exists? I would really like to read them.
Thank you,
Always teaching your lambs, thanks, Fr Mark🙏🏻🐾
