Hi Fr. I was also under attack for Real and in dreams. I began ghost hunting yrs ago and became obsessed. My parents house is haunted for real. I hunted there so much that something eventually followed Me home! It scratched me, shook lg. appliances growled at me and oppressed me, I'd see large amounts of bugs and scary "faces" in things looking at me! It followed me everywhere. I knew I crossed a line and in a instant I knew what I had to do. I stopped ghost hunting and Ran to the church and stayed there ever since! I went to confession and finally "it" backed off! I was raised Catholic but was not going. Now, my husband and I are devout. My husband is actually studying to become a Deacon. I learned a huge lesson and actually am greatful because Now, Im safe. As much as God is for Real, so is the devil! The closer we are to God, the more the devil attacks us
my husband as a child in Venezuela raised by two immigrant parents from Spain who lived through the Civil War there would always be afraid of ghost. especially being raised in Venezuela away from his extended family in a country who may speak Spanish but in a very different culture. he had a hard time sleeping and his father would come in and talk to him. he told him that the ghost have no control over him. they are dead and he is alive. pray to Heaven and remember you have your angel beside you who is so much stronger than the demons and the ghosts. ghost are lost souls and the demons are fallen angels who lost most of their power when they chose satan over GOD. they can only temp you but you have free will and a strong and faithful Jewish Mother, Mary who is the Mother of us and the Son of GOD. praying to HER, St Joseph and Jesus, the Blessed Holy Family helps a lot in making us strong.

I generally don't put a whole lot of weight on dreams or things that pop into my mind either. But a few months ago I was in incredible interior hurt and pain. So much anguish. I was awake and I was in bed, but still fully coherent and awake. As I stopped crying and laid my head on my pillow, I saw the head of a snake looking directly at me. It was much stronger of a "vision" than if I were to tell you to close your eyes and think of a brown bear, for example. It was much more "alive" and vivid than that. The head of the serpent was mostly a light green color, but it had spots of like a glittery shiny beautiful red and blue as well. I had wanted to give up on everything that night, no not suicide, but just stop trying in general. I'm familiar with spiritual warfare and I know that satan is the father of lies and doesn't have his own clay, so he has to warp beauty and goodness into sin. To me, that image I saw reminded me of the cunning serpent he is. Just like sin, the snake was very alluring to look at but once you get close enough and engage with it, it will bite you back. In the vision it did not bite me, which is also how Satan works I feel. The effects of sin or the bite come later after he lures you in. If he starts with a ferocious bite, he knows you won't join him. So The snake says to us "come join me, come join my ways, I have everything you want". And it's a lie. So I immediately rejected the idea of giving up. The only other time, on a separate occasion, that I saw a "vision" as I described above was a very vidid image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Just like the snake, both images were just 1-2 seconds long but much more in your face and vivid than a normal interior thought. Again, it's hard to explain. For those who don't know Guadalupe is the Spanish translation of the Aztec name given to Mary in this apparition...that Aztec name which meant she who crushes the serpent. Resist satan always, my friends. Cling to Our Lady. Is she not your Mother?
@See, I have told you beforehand common sense tells you that Father is a title used to connote your biological dad and the title given to priests. No one that I know confuses those titles with God the Father.
Before I hit the hay I always spray my bed and room with Holy water and ask Our Blessed Mother to keep Satan and any and all evil spirits away from me and all I hold dear 😇 It seems to work wonders because Mother Mary is amazing. Now I need to ask Her this same grace when I wake up!

I had a dream at least 25 or 30 years ago that I have never forgotten in which God spoke to me. This was years and years before I understood that God is LIGHT, literally, and I was so confused because I SAW His voice as a golden light, as well as heard it. I pay attention to my dreams.

Great sermon , we must be alert, when temptation comes to us and address a little prayer to God ,trust in God, count on Him to help us. We must be alert to all imminent dangers both physical and spiritual. My mom, who was a convert to Catholicism, used to say a little prayer she learned from a Monastic Brother, who instructed her, and when we were out in our car, when my Father took the wheel , she would make the Sign of the Cross and close her eyes and repeat: "Oh Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place ALL my TRUST in Thee. I count on Thee, I trust in Thee, leaving it to Thee, in perfect security. Amen." at the beginning of our journey. She always prayed this prayer aloud in our car in every longer trip we undertook in the car, as a family. She never made a point that we should all say this with her, although we did that automatically. This short prayer has stood me in good stead, ever since, in my life, whenever I drive in long tunnels, or feel anxious on long journeys or at other anxiety provoking prospects such as surgery, or nasty dental- visit experiences , etc. It helps reduce the worry; and is calming. We, with praying like this, have told ourselves that God, the Son, is in control of our destiny , and this is very consoling ! We have , lovingly, put Him in full charge of our souls and of the outcome of our undertakings ! Our prayer for help, brings Jesus alongside our situation, not merely as a bystander ; but, we invite Him into our lives to actively protect us! This foils Satan ´s plans to harm us !

I have been attacked spiritually by the devil always at night before I go to sleep... but I know he can do nothing unless permitted by God. .hes on a leash...so to speak....Years ago I would be frightened and scream out to God but I know calmly call on the name of Jesus and he disappears like dew. ..I truly believe God is drawing us closer to him each time!

I just fell badly into a long going temptation less than an hour ago. Everytime I'm tempted by this sin or sins similar, someway somehow, 1 Corinthians 10:13 shows up somewhere unexpectedly. This phenomena has been ongoing for a few years now and sure enough, you mention that exact scripture in a video less than an hour after me falling down again. I almost knew that that scripture was going to be mentioned when I saw the title of the video. Believe me when I tell you that this video was God Himself speaking through you. Amazing.
Mary R. Make a practice of confessing your on-going sin to the Priest every week. You will find it totally removed in a short time. The Grace of God will give you a new spiritual life.

@@sme7385 Oh, we can be tempted alright. When we’re winding down for the day, we’re not as guarded as we could be, and that’s when the enemy strikes. Especially if we’re on our phones at night. As a senior in college, I know that’s when I’m most likely to stumble across and succumb to certain ideas. Though again, there’s always hope. God will forgive (ie. Confession). We just have to have the fortitude to take responsibility for our souls.

Amen, Father! That line from James is one of my favorites. Your video reminds me of a heart-pounding dream I had many years ago, but I never forgot it. In my dream, I was having a fist fight with another man, and I was beating him, but the more I punched him, the more he laughed at me. And, the more he laughed at me, the more enraged I got, so I kept punching him, trying to make him stop laughing, until his face was a bloody mess, but he still kept laughing. I became so enraged, that I yelled out in my sleep and woke myself up. I feel like the person I was fighting was the devil, and this dream was a warning to me to not let myself be overcome by my anger and commit murder. So, I always try to stay cool and calm in any confrontation. Thank You, Jesus!

I experienced one of the most horrifying attacks of demonic temptation several years back. It was crystal clear what was happening because there was a physical manifestation added to it. I remembered a prayer that was taught to me that I immediately prayed over and over again until it stopped. I was all but sweating bullets because I knew intuitively that this one temptation was a major test from God. By His loving grace alone, I prevailed. I have never been so rattled in all my life. "May the Precious Blood of Jesus wash over me."

I heard an Exorcist speak on the calming effect of Gregorial Chant playing softly in the background during our working day. He also said the demons HATE it, which gives us protection.
I've had those before and calling on the name of Jesus over and over again saved me. Mine were wild dogs barking with profanity against the Lord. I have had those ugly dreams with Satan too but Jesus always wins! Fr. Mark, you're being strengthened in your walk with Christ. St. Padre Pio had attacks too and said we should rejoice when we are being attacked. Padre Pio also said it is never a good thing when the devil is silent. I believe we grow with these attacks and should never be afraid. Psalm 91 daily.
All Christians, churches, leaders and religions not knowing and doing spiritual warfare and deliverance will be destroyed in these times of terrible spiritual warfare.

I can't imagine why there are always a relative few individuals who don't like (thumbs down) these videos which teach Christian values and are valuable for our salvation. I can only assume they are Protestants who don't agree with Catholic theology and so will not approve of any message we send, no matter how true it is and how much sense it makes. They must be part of the "Once Saved ..." crowd, feeling there is nothing more they need to do or to hear.

I had dreams about Jesus since last year. But, at the same time, I also had dreams from the enemy. I prayed the Hail Mary in my dreams when I get attacked by them and the enemies vanished completely. Indeed, they're afraid of the Mother of God! When I called the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, he was there immediately to save me, he rescued me from the enemy many many times! I believe that we need to put our trust in him. He knows his sheep and he will never abandon us. I witnessed Jesus's loving presence. He continues to reveal himself to me in my dreams, and I believe it's a blessing. Jesus will never lie about himself to us. And our soul recognizes Jesus Christ because he is the source of Life.

I ask my guardian to protect me. Dear guardian angel the devil is putting thoughts in my head please get those rotting demons away from, this I pray. My guardian angel has helped me so much. Suddenly thoughts of temptation are gone.
Throughout my adult life there have being certain dreams that seem to stand out and demand attention. Not every night, not even every year. One goes back over forty years. But a few weeks ago I was in bed asleep and had one such dream. I dreamt I was sat up in bed, the room was of a similar size to the room I was in but there was a door in the left hand corner at the bottom of the bed. No such door exists in my real bedroom. The door opened and in came this hideous creature, walking like a lizard with a long tail. It was as big as a crocodile and its skin was smooth and oily, the colours on its skin were putrid like pus, green slime and dark matter. Its sickly repulsive yellow eyes looked up at me and I was startled. Some much so that I woke up with a start. I was back in my real bedroom but it gave me a shock. I know that it was an attack. I have been writing about God, bringing him to the attention of others in the press or on youtube. I got the feeling that someone doesn't like this. God bless you Mark.

Im so happy this topic is open to share, wow i've had many of them lately because especially I converted a year ago. My latest was a huge wasp, so huge i googled it to see whether it existed. True the evil does come in the dreams, i often sleep with my crucifix on my chest and hold while i sleep :) i really do, and spray holy water around my bed. :)
Father Mark, this is prudently based counsel for daily spiritual combat but unfortunately it seems many Catholics remain unaware. Still, your wise counsel we'll undoubtedly appeal to the sentiments of many who in their imaginations battle vicariously unseen spiritual predators. To stay calm and collected and even mindful to remember to depend on the Lord requires - I would say - a sufficiently strong faith that would remain calm enough not to deviate from your instructions. I was raised Catholic but was not going. Now, my husband and I are devout. My husband is actually studying to become a Deacon. I learned a huge lesson and actually am greatful because Now, Im safe. As much as God is for Real, so is the devil! The closer we are to God, the more the devil attacks us

my husband as a child in Venezuela raised by two immigrant parents from Spain who lived through the Civil War there would always be afraid of ghost. especially being raised in Venezuela away from his extended family in a country who may speak Spanish but in a very different culture. he had a hard time sleeping and his father would come in and talk to him. he told him that the ghost have no control over him. they are dead and he is alive. pray to Heaven and remember you have your angel beside you who is so much stronger than the demons and the ghosts. ghost are lost souls and the demons are fallen angels who lost most of their power when they chose satan over GOD. they can only temp you but you have free will and a strong and faithful Jewish Mother, Mary who is the Mother of us and the Son of GOD. praying to HER, St Joseph and Jesus, the Blessed Holy Family helps a lot in making us strong.

I generally don't put a whole lot of weight on dreams or things that pop into my mind either. But a few months ago I was in incredible interior hurt and pain. So much anguish. I was awake and I was in bed, but still fully coherent and awake. As I stopped crying and laid my head on my pillow, I saw the head of a snake looking directly at me. It was much stronger of a "vision" than if I were to tell you to close your eyes and think of a brown bear, for example. It was much more "alive" and vivid than that. The head of the serpent was mostly a light green color, but it had spots of like a glittery shiny beautiful red and blue as well. I had wanted to give up on everything that night, no not suicide, but just stop trying in general. I'm familiar with spiritual warfare and I know that satan is the father of lies and doesn't have his own clay, so he has to warp beauty and goodness into sin. To me, that image I saw reminded me of the cunning serpent he is. Just like sin, the snake was very alluring to look at but once you get close enough and engage with it, it will bite you back. In the vision it did not bite me, which is also how Satan works I feel. The effects of sin or the bite come later after he lures you in. If he starts with a ferocious bite, he knows you won't join him. So The snake says to us "come join me, come join my ways, I have everything you want". And it's a lie. So I immediately rejected the idea of giving up.
The only other time, on a separate occasion, that I saw a "vision" as I described above was a very vidid image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Just like the snake, both images were just 1-2 seconds long but much more in your face and vivid than a normal interior thought. Again, it's hard to explain. For those who don't know Guadalupe is the Spanish translation of the Aztec name given to Mary in this apparition...that Aztec name which meant she who crushes the serpent.
Resist satan always, my friends. Cling to Our Lady. Is she not your Mother?

Before I hit the hay I always spray my bed and room with Holy water and ask Our Blessed Mother to keep Satan and any and all evil spirits away from me and all I hold dear 😇 It seems to work wonders because Mother Mary is amazing. Now I need to ask Her this same grace when I wake up!

Great sermon , we must be alert, when temptation comes to us and address a little prayer to God ,trust in God, count on Him to help us. We must be alert to all imminent dangers both physical and spiritual. My mom, who was a convert to Catholicism, used to say a little prayer she learned from a Monastic Brother, who instructed her, and when we were out in our car, when my Father took the wheel , she would make the Sign of the Cross and close her eyes and repeat: "Oh Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place ALL my TRUST in Thee. I count on Thee, I trust in Thee, leaving it to Thee, in perfect security. Amen." at the beginning of our journey. She always prayed this prayer aloud in our car in every longer trip we undertook in the car, as a family. She never made a point that we should all say this with her, although we did that automatically. This short prayer has stood me in good stead, ever since, in my life, whenever I drive in long tunnels, or feel anxious on long journeys or at other anxiety provoking prospects such as surgery, or nasty dental- visit experiences , etc. It helps reduce the worry; and is calming. We, with praying like this, have told ourselves that God, the Son, is in control of our destiny , and this is very consoling ! We have , lovingly, put Him in full charge of our souls and of the outcome of our undertakings ! Our prayer for help, brings Jesus alongside our situation, not merely as a bystander ; but, we invite Him into our lives to actively protect us! This foils Satan ´s plans to harm us !

I just fell badly into a long going temptation less than an hour ago. Everytime I'm tempted by this sin or sins similar, someway somehow, 1 Corinthians 10:13 shows up somewhere unexpectedly. This phenomena has been ongoing for a few years now and sure enough, you mention that exact scripture in a video less than an hour after me falling down again. I almost knew that that scripture was going to be mentioned when I saw the title of the video. Believe me when I tell you that this video was God Himself speaking through you. Amazing.
Mary R. Make a practice of confessing your on-going sin to the Priest every week. You will find it totally removed in a short time. The Grace of God will give you a new spiritual life.

@@sme7385 Oh, we can be tempted alright. When we’re winding down for the day, we’re not as guarded as we could be, and that’s when the enemy strikes.
Especially if we’re on our phones at night. As a senior in college, I know that’s when I’m most likely to stumble across and succumb to certain ideas.
Though again, there’s always hope. God will forgive (ie. Confession). We just have to have the fortitude to take responsibility for our souls.
I sleep with my rosary on my hand!..any bad dreams..instant Hail Mary...same for my grandchildren who live with me..it will put them back to sleep with a happy peaceful smile!🤗🙏🙏

Amen, Father! That line from James is one of my favorites. Your video reminds me of a heart-pounding dream I had many years ago, but I never forgot it. In my dream, I was having a fist fight with another man, and I was beating him, but the more I punched him, the more he laughed at me. And, the more he laughed at me, the more enraged I got, so I kept punching him, trying to make him stop laughing, until his face was a bloody mess, but he still kept laughing. I became so enraged, that I yelled out in my sleep and woke myself up. I feel like the person I was fighting was the devil, and this dream was a warning to me to not let myself be overcome by my anger and commit murder. So, I always try to stay cool and calm in any confrontation. Thank You, Jesus!

I experienced one of the most horrifying attacks of demonic temptation several years back. It was crystal clear what was happening because there was a physical manifestation added to it. I remembered a prayer that was taught to me that I immediately prayed over and over again until it stopped. I was all but sweating bullets because I knew intuitively that this one temptation was a major test from God. By His loving grace alone, I prevailed. I have never been so rattled in all my life.
"May the Precious Blood of Jesus wash over me."

I've had those before and calling on the name of Jesus over and over again saved me. Mine were wild dogs barking with profanity against the Lord. I have had those ugly dreams with Satan too but Jesus always wins!
Fr. Mark, you're being strengthened in your walk with Christ. St. Padre Pio had attacks too and said we should rejoice when we are being attacked. Padre Pio also said it is never a good thing when the devil is silent. I believe we grow with these attacks and should never be afraid. Psalm 91 daily.

I can't imagine why there are always a relative few individuals who don't like (thumbs down) these videos which teach Christian values and are valuable for our salvation. I can only assume they are Protestants who don't agree with Catholic theology and so will not approve of any message we send, no matter how true it is and how much sense it makes. They must be part of the "Once Saved ..." crowd, feeling there is nothing more they need to do or to hear.

I had dreams about Jesus since last year. But, at the same time, I also had dreams from the enemy. I prayed the Hail Mary in my dreams when I get attacked by them and the enemies vanished completely. Indeed, they're afraid of the Mother of God! When I called the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, he was there immediately to save me, he rescued me from the enemy many many times! I believe that we need to put our trust in him. He knows his sheep and he will never abandon us. I witnessed Jesus's loving presence. He continues to reveal himself to me in my dreams, and I believe it's a blessing. Jesus will never lie about himself to us. And our soul recognizes Jesus Christ because he is the source of Life.
1. Isaiah 30 - Calm down. Waiting and calm, quiet and trust.
2. 1Corinthians 10 - God is faithfully with you, and will provide an escape.

Throughout my adult life there have being certain dreams that seem to stand out and demand attention. Not every night, not even every year. One goes back over forty years. But a few weeks ago I was in bed asleep and had one such dream. I dreamt I was sat up in bed, the room was of a similar size to the room I was in but there was a door in the left hand corner at the bottom of the bed. No such door exists in my real bedroom. The door opened and in came this hideous creature, walking like a lizard with a long tail. It was as big as a crocodile and its skin was smooth and oily, the colours on its skin were putrid like pus, green slime and dark matter. Its sickly repulsive yellow eyes looked up at me and I was startled. Some much so that I woke up with a start. I was back in my real bedroom but it gave me a shock. I know that it was an attack. I have been writing about God, bringing him to the attention of others in the press or on youtube. I got the feeling that someone doesn't like this. God bless you Mark.

Im so happy this topic is open to share, wow i've had many of them lately because especially I converted a year ago. My latest was a huge wasp, so huge i googled it to see whether it existed. True the evil does come in the dreams, i often sleep with my crucifix on my chest and hold while i sleep :) i really do, and spray holy water around my bed. :)
Father Mark, this is prudently based counsel for daily spiritual combat but unfortunately it seems many Catholics remain unaware. Still, your wise counsel we'll undoubtedly appeal to the sentiments of many who in their imaginations battle vicariously unseen spiritual predators. To stay calm and collected and even mindful to remember to depend on the Lord requires - I would say - a sufficiently strong faith that would remain calm enough not to deviate from your instructions. From my experience and observation, it's not common. Thanks, Fr. Mark, you're a good priest.
