Kia, Hyundai and Genesis are literally examples of what putting in efforts look like. I’m a big fan. This is coming from someone who drives a Cadillac.
The Kia EV6 is pretty awesome too! It’s got that futuristic design and impressive range. Plus, it’s all about that electric power, which is super cool.
I really don’t like the new front end. I far prefer the previous one. Other than that, I like the changes. The NACS port, the steering wheel, the (finally) wireless CarPlay are all welcome. For me, it’s between this and the Model 3. I don’t need a Model Y sized vehicle. So the new 3 is still a far more cost effective choice, even after adding an after market wireless CarPlay display.
It's still not clear to me if the US will get the 2025 models now or the summer of next year? Are they just referring to the refreshed GT trim that's coming in the summer?
@Cedar1956 Someone asked in the Kia livestream chat when they announced it and they were told summer 2025 which doesn't make sense given the Nov announcement. I think the person from Kia who responded in the live chat was talking about the 2025 GT trim.
Gabby! Then Lyn which she was so funny in the back lol. I was hoping that they would've finally bring over the sequential rear turns but too bad. I didn't want to have to import them that's why. Was looking to retro fit them on my 23 EV6 GT. I wonder if they will give some of the new features to the prior versions. Like the fake shifting. 😅
I think the front end looks good. The back end still doesn't, though (IMO). ALSO, $55K for the GT-Line is absurd. Needs to be $10k less for the GT-Line, and the GT come in at mid-50's (or even less). It's crazy how Hyundai/Kia have become high-dollar cars, and it's even crazier how the general public is eating it up.
Keep in mind this is the 800v higher end tech in this one. The EV4 is coming in very similar shape, a little smaller, 400v and $10k cheaper in about a year
give me an example of a car with 800v ultra fast charging less than 50k? you do know the next car is Porche, Audis, lucids... which are all cost more than 80k-120k, right? You don't understand how quickly it is to charge, most of the time less than 10-15 mins
Don't like the refresh front fascia of the sportage. it looks like the Sorento and the carnival. The daytime yellow lights run too long to the bottom on both Sorento, and the carnival is obnoxious and ugly. Why would you have yellow, why not have white led.

ehh ioniq 5 N is way better. the front of the ev6 is cool but i hate the back of the car soo much. also i agree the top should be painted black to match the large sunroof. it just looks weird being half colored body and the other half black sunroof
We have a 2024 EV6 AWD since July. About 6k miles on it. It is a phenomenal car to drive. It is fantastic.

I really don't get all you people who prefer the old front end. It's the one part that was almost out of place on it although I still love mine :)

As an actual owner I'm telling you that you just use the steering wheels controls for audio, very simple.
It's only Americans complaining about it. It can be preset. Don't know why Americans are scared of technology.
