I'll still pick the nvidia brand when it comes to graphics cards, but I hope Intel's ARC GPU rises so that nvidia and AMD will have competition and increase their performance over the market.
Ben! I really do love your reviews, watching always and liking etc. but I do need to leave this comment here. Both laptops are equipped with GPU so would be nice to see at least two games tested in that 1080p that we would have another performance 1st. will that 1260p bottleneck 3050Ti due to less cache and less performance cores in CPU, and also would that ARC A370M cause any problems with well... running games.
I tried the ZenBook a few months ago and was impressed with the battery life. However, are you sure it's correct to say the ZenBook is more efficient than the Swift? Because the battery capacity is different: 96Wh on the Zenbook and 59Wh on the Swift. If the ZenBook lasts about 11 hrs (rounded up) it's using about 8.7W per hour while with 9-ish hours on the Swift means it's using about 6.6W per hour. That's to say, if the Swift also has 96Wh battery, it'll last for about 14 hrs. Maybe if the performance differences on battery are taken into account along with the battery life numbers, that would make sense?
How do you know witch jntle arc your laptop has It dosent specific in store I keep hearing 300 serie 500 serie and the 770 top dog I saw the hp pavilion plus 14 and the zenbook but no info.
I don't think the 12700h + Arc A370M is efficient with long battery life, as you're saying. It has more to do with the much larger 96Wh battery in the laptop compared to the Acer's 59Wh.
Exactly. Longer battery life does not necessarily mean more efficient. You have to take battery and screen size into the equation. That said, I just ordered the Asus on sale. I basically only play Rocket League and older games, so it should handle everything just fine, and I want an OLED screen
Can some please give me idea to how to find laptop with intel arc a770m laptop😅 i googled but couldn't finnd any single laptop with this arc gpu, is this gpu really available for consumers ?
asus zephyrus g14 or g15? ik youve talked abt the g14 a ton but never really abt the g15. Whats the difference other than the screen? I want a laptop for college and want to do some gaming and video editing here and there also. Choosing between the 2 zephyrus laptops from last year. Since I'm in Australia, I dont have the crazy best buy sales. If theyre around the same price, which one do you recommend?
I'd pick the newer g14 2023 model if i were u. there are lower spec g14 models releasing such as the ryzen 7 7735hs rtx 3050 and ryzen 9 7940hs rtx 4050 that shouldn't be too expensive, prob similar in price to last years models. bc zen 4 is supposedly way more effecient than last gen, youre getting better battery life, better cpu performance and way better graphics performance for prob the same price as last years model. only prob is its releasing in march which is a bummer
@@aksup4213 i doubt it. Esp the 4050, it will still be nowhere near the performance of an rtx 3060 or a 6700s. I also dont wanna wait until mid year so idk
The arc GPUs look like they'll hold their own in the future, maybe next year , but for now I'll say stick with the devil you known and go with th Nvidia. Counting down to 100k subs with you ben
Sir i think nvidia is better as it is giving better battery while doing premiere pro editing and also didn't have H series CPU. I will choose nvidia laptop and rtx 40 series especially 4080 and 4090 has 2 encoders including av1.
YES i was thinking the same, why would he compare a intel H series processor in benchmarks against an intel P processor and make conclusions about which GPU is better. I'm calling Intel biased sponsored video on this.
If you care about gaming then avoid the a370m laptops, speaking from experience. There are random bugs and issues and the performance is incredibly underwhelming in older games especially anything directx11 and below

@@woedendstewadpier4922 Driver updates improved the performance by a lot there are some videos on it and the performance in gaming was not trash it was the older API that had a problem.
@@footballtalk4857 have you believe? It is. I have the flip OLED. It is leagues worse than the 3050 because the performance is so inconsistent (on top of having a lower ceiling). I think so as well. They are REALLY setting up for a big improvement in efficiency. Just like Apple lagged for a while during their development on Apple M1, Intel has been working on what's coming and had to work with what they had while getting this ready.
