    Hi Jon....many.many thanks for showing us all the art of spray painting...of which you are ‘Da Man’....I’m memorised most of the time watching you in the mornings.....a true work of art. Opens before me...and something I my self have started doing.....not being a artist my self I find it difficult with some of the techniques used.....ie cloud templets making one. And tree making ( what do you use is it a piece of card or sponge? ) em....any way practice makes perfect..so glad we have you to show us....many thanks Dave.

      Hi Dave, Thank you so much for watching, and for taking the time to leave these kind words and this fantastic comment, feedback and question I really do appreciate it :) The cloud stencils are made from card and i make the trees with either a paintbrush or a piece of sponge, Yes the more you practice the more use to it you will get :)

    I made my first moon painting today. I call it Hoth. You know, from Star Wars. Kind of an ice moon. I wanted to keep it simple since it was my first. It turned out much much better than I was expecting. I think I'll try a desert planet next. Arrakis from Dune. Couldn't have done it without your videos.

    Love your art Jon! I always gain inspiration from you to create new paintings! Just wondering what sort of brushes do you use to paint the mountains? Mine tend to get ruined after one use. As well as what did you use to add the highlights? Are those just notecards?

    • @JonBarberArt
      @JonBarberArt  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Adrian, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback and questions I really appreciate it :) It's also nice to hear you take inspiration from me :) I just use cheap brushes to paint with and then clean them with acetone after i have finished using them, it's good for cleaning brushes, and for the highlights, it's just bits of gloss card cut up into small pieces hope this helps :)
