    When you flick the white stars on, it just adds an entire layer of depth to it, and every video of yours I watch I am most excited about that part!

    Jon, that's a great tutorial... the result is stunning. I was wondering how that array of colors was going to finalize thinking it was very vivid but its sublime... really nice. inspirational in fact.

    would be cool to see the blackhole made out of the blackest black paint. it actually absorbs light and looks like a real hole in something.

I wouldn't mind having a try with some of it :)

      @@JonBarberArt I think it’s really fun to use the different tools found in everyday life to make art with. It’s still tuff starting out and how to layer paint but it’s a very fun thing to do.

      Hi Will, Glad to hear you are having fun painting with spray paint, Yes most of the tools can be easily found at home or in local shops, Just take your time when painting and enjoy it, as there's no need to rush and just practice, Then You'll get use to it no time :)

    Honestly amazing! Im planning on doing a wall in my daughters room space theme! What clear coat are you using at the end? Does it make it more glossy also?

    Hiya John quick question I'm struggling to get hold of Montana gold/white as a paint pack is the 94 range any good for planets or can ya recommended what's a good?

      Hi Spitfire, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment and question I really appreciate it :) I haven't tried any other brands apart from Montana yet as i really like using them , but i do have plans to try some others to see what they are like in the future, If i was just starting spray paint art now what i would do is buy a black and white and a couple of colours off a said brand and give them ago, and if you like them buy some more and if not (you haven't really spent much on them) try another brand till you find one you like, Sorry i couldn't be more helpful.

    Can you go over what paints you use and how you do the flick for the stars, when I do that I get big globs, not stars

      Hi 12 Bravo, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this comment and questions I appreciate it :) I have a tutorial on my channel for making stars, showing and explaining how to do it, hope it helps you out :) I used around 30 different colours for this, using a few shades from each colour range to make this painting. The paint i was using is from the Montana range :)

      @@JonBarberArt I can’t find Montana cans anywhere here, not without ordering online, I’m stuck at the moment with plain rustoleum paint, it works but you have to be very careful with, it’s all high pressure cans, I haven’t been able to finesse it, I’m hoping if I can get a low pressure can I can get better results, thanks for the reply

      Hi 12 Bravo, I have to order my spray paint online has there's no where local to me that sells it, I use high and low pressure cans, It takes a bit of time to get used to different cans and pressure as each make/brand can be different from one and other, try pressing the cap lighter then you normally do it'll take a bit if practice tho, then the cans will let less paint out and you may find it easier to work with the high pressure cans hope this helps :)

    What is the source of your plastic wrap/ texture sheets??

      Hi Mark, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment and the question I really appreciate it :) The blue material I use are large plastic bags that I got from an old workplace, they were throwing them in a skip, so I took them, all I do with them is cut them up so they are easier to use, I don't know anything about them apart from they are a plastic bag, or where I would get any more from if I needed too. sorry, I couldn't be more helpful,

      @@JonBarberArt if you want to do some planet with atmosphere, it's very diffuculty (it is not that i can't do it, when I tried it with montana gold it seem like super easy and i did it). And at all, it doesn't matter which cap you use, distance from canvas doesn't matter, in every time it will be very hard to do some shadows or "paint cloud". But still you can do nice things with them.
