Hi Steve, Sorry for the late response, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the question I really appreciate it :) Yes it's better to leave it to dry before putting the lid on, but you don't have to all depends on what lid you are using, how thick the lip is on it, and how much paint is down before you add the lid, i leave it to dry most of the time in my painting before adding the lids, but sometimes i just go straight ahead and add the lids, you kind of know when it'll be fine to do so, but it's hard to explain in words :) :)

I watch a few videos to sort of get the basics but the ones i watch were not the best to learn from. I just self taught my self trying different things and ways to see what worked and what didn't work for me :)

Shouldn't you let that black dry 1st before putting on the lid??
