Great video guys! My Bandit ran good with AKA slicks up to around 85 mph. They came apart on the way to 90 plus mph ua-cam.com/video/nh8xVVF6ktI/v-deo.html&t but they were REALLY worn. The AKA Handlbars were decent too but don't like to go much past 75 (they balloon too much). I have a set of GRPs and was excited to run them but they are way too heavy and I lose like 3 or 4 mph running them. I have a set of Hoons I am going to try soon but they are only 85 mm (the GRPs are 100 mm) and as they probably will not balloon much, they may slow the car down too much form shorter overall gearing. My AKAs are close to 100 mm when ballooning. Gone Banana's is sending me out a full set of foam tires and I think this is going to be the winning combination (if I can keep the car on the road).
AKA’s look nice, do you have a part number we can try? We’re eliminating the slipper clutch, and adding a carbon fiber wing to the front for downforce. And your right those GRP tires are nice but we loose speed. They also vibrate a lot more when they get out of round.
@@redbanditracing I had GREAT luck with Kimbrough gears and an Exotek slipper clutch delete. I have several videos on it if you are interested. I got the slicks on Amazon for like $11 shipped but I lucked out! They make great tires based on my experience (but have their limits).
I’ve been 96 mph on a single 4 s with my bandit rear grp s and front pro line drag tires no issues 100 mph plus in 2024 check it out H and w rc racing channel

They might be too big for bandit but hoon tires off the infraction will hold up to those speeds
