    This is a cool product but it's double the price of a laptop with the same specs it's just too insane and niche

    • @Electrichead64
      @Electrichead64 5 місяців тому +1

      Yea you go ahead and buy an HP Omen for half the price then. The NUCs aren't just computers with mobile processors in them. They can get more out of those mobile processors than a laptop can because of the cooling and heatsinks in these things. Half the inside of a NUC is heatsinks and fans.

      @@Electrichead64 Buy a Cooling Pad and U will see a nice result :). I got TUF Laptop with 4070 always at 77-80c Temp when playing at Max Settings/Max Resolution. But with Cooling Pad (6 fan) i stay at 50-68c (Depend on what game i play). Never reach 70c even at Cyberpunk.

      @@toytulog576 I think laptops are inherently stupid. Unless you travel a lot. And gaming laptops are worse. 90% of the people that buy laptops leave them parked 90% of the time because 90% of the people in this world are DUMB.

    Now with Black Friday Sales this is same cost as a laptop! If you must go cheaper go for miniforums Neptune or similar you will run risk of tech support. I would go that route if not for ordering a Nuc Rog for 1599 for the 4070

    I wish more companies would take this same concept, but make it affordable. I'm talking about the 900 USD or lower price range.

    I have a Hades Canyon and a Phantom Canyon. The Phantom Canyon is pretty decent. Probably cost me $1400 to build, 32GB ram and 2TB Samsung m2

    The rog nuc 970 he’s not readily available in most retailers at the moment that includes Amazon and a lot of other retail trailers here in the UK. When it becomes more available, probably people more interested but until then that’s gonna take some time. There is a development as you know with heat dissipation. It always has been an old will be the bare bone of PC not only with work but also gaming and heavy usage. In order to rectify that the market has looked at different ways of dissipating heat. They’ve looked up water cooling they’ve looked up design concepts so they’ve looked at raw materials and water itself but still no Trevail. But there is a caveat on the horizon and development at the moment as you know the chip design has change how it processes it so that utilises less electricity in the design concept thereby producing less electricity so you don’t have to put too much heavy workload on the processor and hence there won’t be too much heat coming from it although at certain parameters functionality wise it’s good and it needs that heat to function but there’s an optimum point where by it needs to cool down quicker in order to get the process of working more efficiently effectively and utilising less electricity making the package much better more efficient more productive and you can increase the ram and add a small volume hence the actual design concept being made smaller but yet more effective I’m not so hot to touch if that sounds right. I know this is in Laymans terms but that’s it in a nutshell. There are other developments in the types of memory magnetic memory is also in the limelight eventually that will come into the mainstream and numerous other concepts but this idea of changing the chip design and the type of chip that’s been utilised yes without a shadow of a doubt I hope the nook and the actual company will incorporate that into the in the fourth silver future by doing so it will hopefully open the market to greater effect and the consumer will open arms to it even more but until it’s time they do you’ll have a limited market unfortunately and that limited market will be as you know not only volume limited but also consumer limited in the respect the cost variations you can bring down the cost and raw materials thereby passing the cost over to consumer Your rate the cost in the long run because of volume product thereby you’re making more money in the long-term but until it’s time you do your product has to be very high at the moment unfortunately this will have verifications in the long-term. You have to bring the cost down. The cost down you will reach a wider audience as you know production costs and when they first start that’s its bare bone because the role materials and design concerts have to be paid for but if the new concepts come into line with the types, new chips coming into Line, if you can get them to be incorporated at a cheaper price and I save this again at a cheaper price so that you look at long-term gains but take a short term hit in audit and gain volume distribution. You will actually make more money with the nook as it is a present because the PS5 pros coming online and well shot of a doubt Sony is developing this concept in mind they have a readily available established market and they know the marketplace when if Microsoft unfortunately the tally jump in with 2 feet to see which sticks the most They know the servers and their server farms. We should stick to the development market on concept Sony to rectify that have gone to collaboration with Apple other companies on their service and this is the foreseeable future now taking that to hindsight the volatility of Microsoft at this present moment in time because of the design concept of When is 11 which has to be rectified in order for the consumer to gain confidence and this is another issue that the nook will have because it is not integrated into one eye readily available not so much spam and numerous on that but the consumer needs to set up. I want it for gaming so therefore I’m gonna have apps from numerous companies very readily available to click on it. I need to ready available and it’s a one ecosystem that means You have to integrate a payment system that secure but yeah it’s really available so you could pay for the products you pay for because at the moment you’re relying on well establish companies and that’s it major fault because it’s trying to do several things all at one go when it if it has to be a gaming Product solid for that marketplace has to have two different types of Knox one is four gaming one is for the service side and another one can be for work wise which which are three normal ways of actually activate it to allow Microsoft to concentrate and develop the Windows product and unfortunately they utilising third-party copies which they themselves need to rectify plus you have another issue Windows and gaming companies need to collaborate with not only hardware but also software so the consumer needs to be reliant on whether I when is if you got would automatically update the drivers automatically not only on the service but also on the hardware for the consumer that already has the games on that means They don’t need to think about the product that is readily available readily available gives that those updates. This is where the needs to realise the types of software that’s available that’s in there needs to have AI built into the software and be able to recognise the touch of software we’ve already gotten if there’s an update do it automatically well consumer doing anything so take off the old drivers putting new drivers on And read so that becomes consumer friendly accessibility but yet secure and simplified but at present you haven’t got neither a simplified format. You’ve got to also have winners in the background and they all companies are literally fighting each other so working with each other and that’s your major emphasis it’s not so much making the money the money will come later, in the respect that they can all have so much of the pie but if you fight each other, you’re not gonna get so much of that pie because she will tell they will know we’re gonna go away. It’s more secure and where the money we you know for well that we can spend our money and be guaranteedpleasurable emphasis on the consumer side this is why the game industry needs to recognise that time is very valuable to the consumer. I’ll leave it to I’ve said too much now. Pass it onto your colleagues hopefully you can neutralise his ideas. Bye for now. take care of her friends and family.

    NGL i have a fascination with NUCs. Gusto ko to own one, to bring around during travelling. pero the fact that it has no screen, and peripherals compared to a laptop; laptop talaga for mobility. Not sure if i would have any future or specific usage for NUCs :( pero still i want one. HAHHAHAHAH

    New subscriber. Planning to balikbayan in a few months. How available are GPUs and CPUs in PH? Trying to decide to buy here in the US or in PH. Please let me know.

    • @hwsph
      @hwsph  5 місяців тому

      both price and availability are much better in the States
      only upside to being in the PH is, if you'll be residing here again, warranty claims will be easier (assuming you get the parts from a good store)

      bro just buy it in the US at some Micro center. I brought 4 computers back home to the PH and one of them is a full tower. it's cheaper in the PH but limited availability. cheaper but not by much, and with the options you get in the US, it'll make up for it.

      @@Bo_xoxo Get SFF. i brought an SFF too and put it on a pelican case. I used the Meshroom D and it fits perfectly on the pelican and it's under the weight limit of airlines. I also brought back home ser 5 pro mini pc and its meh, mostly just for my parents. pc is the way to go

      @@Wyse-Gaming Bro, you don't know how greatfull I am for this info. I decided on a Corsair 2000D Airflow Mini-ITX. I start my build tomorrow. I made sure the dimensions fit inside a standard airline approved carryon luggage, but I'll also look into the Pelican. I'm declaring my desktop as a personal gaming PC and my laptop to use only for work. I paid enough taxes for these here and hope to not be charged tax again by PH Customs. Thanks again!
