In my collection I have the EDP, Profondo, Profondo light, Absolu, and Profumo. I love the fruity sweet freshness of absolu Although I know most people don’t care for that one.

As if they are such fragrance connoisseurs that not liking this flanker is somehow a prestigious validation of their credibility and exclusivity of their hobby .
I am definitely a fan of Aqua Di Gio. Just picked up the new Aqua Di Gio Parfum last weekend. I wore it to work all week. I received many compliments!! My favorites have been Profondo, Profumo, and Absolu. I think at this point my number one favorite is still Profumo with the Parfum coming in at a close second! Thank you again for your informative, intelligent approach to your videos. Before I buy a fragrance I always check your channel out before purchasing!!
I've been on the ADG wagon since day one.. I got the original back in 1996 and never looked back.. Never bothered me that the performance was less than average/desired.. My favorite of all remains the original EDT, while my favorite flanker is Profondo, which I love.. I honestly believe that ADG is one of the best-smelling fragrances ever, and its success is well-deserved 👍
I agree, edt is the best. If Armani had returned the formulation of the first years of release of ADG OG, then it would simply destroy all flankers with its depth and durability.
Very good review. I prefer Profumo over the Edp version. I am not a fan of the green parts of it which comes off bitter. I also enjoyed the Profumo Special Blend which is also discontinued. I will hold on to the compliment getter for me - Profumo. Keep up the fantastic content! 👍🏾💫

Now with Maison Francis Kurkdjian at the helm I’m curious as to what will come. Profumo was very special to me it was a generic man’s cologne done right, lasted just long enough, projected just far enough. Many compliments and it got me into the fragrance world however sometimes we gotta say goodbye I’ll always appreciate the original profumo but I’m enthusiastic about parfum and I’m ready to make it my new signature.

I can't understand why they pushed back the most selling product of the line, which was Profumo, and releasing weaker product (new Parfum)... Profumo was perfection in the bottle. I just don't get same feeling when wearing AdG Parfum.
Profumo is the only one I ever cared about. The fact that it’s allegedly going away and there appears to be a similar replacement is comforting to me. I don’t have to rush out and buy that overpriced backup bottle of Profumo now.
I am VERY VERY VERY disappointed of this new release Parfum. There are absolutely NO projection at all after about 10-15 minutes. And after 45 minutes it’s ALL gone. The only thing that are left is a smell of salty water and warm stone VERY close to the skin. Even on clothe it’s so flat and with out any Beauty. I have used Aqua Di Gio since the first one came out in 1996. This new release is a joke to the Aqua Di Gio line. Can’t believe that Alberto Morillas would put his name on this. I am very disappointed and especially because it’s expensive. And by the way, I tried to overspray but it’s dead all the way. I am normally very positive and sometimes it’s okay to me that a parfume don’t have beast mode if it smells nice. But this one is a shame. I DONT recommend it.
The asking retail price is just sad. It is all about greed it seems. $200 pretty much for the 4.2oz bottle. $160 for the 2.5oz. From a designer scent that does not last even close to a EDP or Parfum. So they dillute the original over time to make you buy into the marketing, then do the exact same for the parfum. Suckers they see us as. I want to get this but ill stay with the decant i got. It smells great of course but i does not last. I have Bentley Silverlake, which is kind of close but Silverlake last clise to three or four hours more.
Longevity is definitely solid BUT BUT the projection is weak. Does last 8 hours and more but the projection is weak. Maybe 2-3 hours pushing it with mild protection at that and after that it stick extremely close to the skin and clothes! I can see this being more of a close encounter, Date scent even an office scent but isn’t loud at all and projection isn’t impressing. Amazing scent, Solid longevity and poor projection. I also think it’s to expensive for how it projects! I’m huge On fragrances projecting!! If you could last 6 hours max but project all that time ,I’ll take it over a fragrance that can last all day but with very little projection. So that being said… I give this scent 10/10 but overall 8/10 mainly due to its poor lingering/projection it has!
Profumo amd profondo for me. Profondo for casual, profumo leans to formal occasions. Edp version is great too, but still profumo and profondo are beast👍
ADG EDP is terrible. I think it's the Calone note that gives off an egg/body odor type smell. I have no idea how anyone enjoys the EDP but it could just be how I pick up Calone. I would not be confident wearing this one as some might think you smell "off-putting". Hopefully the Parfum has done away with the foul egg note.
It's funny because I get that eggy note from quite a few marine-type fragrances, including several from the ADG line (although worst offender was Bulgari Aqua Amara) but I don't from the EDP! I pick up a mineral, flint-like aroma. I think the EDP and the new Parfum are my favourites so far, I might even opt for the former as it's a little different.
Profoumo and special blend were identical, the reason they changed colour was they started to join fair price trade and paid the third world ingredients pickers better wages
Talking about a fragrance with a lot of flankers and reformulations... I'm surprised the EU hasn't mandated that reformulated fragrances have their name changed. Seriously, had soda been fragrances, New Coke would've just been the new reformulation of Coke. We know how that worked out. Nooooobody noticed that New Coke didn't taste right.
Blind buy potential, can’t go wrong with ADGs.

Im a big fan of the ADG line. I have EDT, EDP, Profumo. Profumo for me is the King. I will add Parfum to my collection.

How close is this Parfum to Profumo? About 90%?
Yeah around 90%. You're definitely gonna get the profumo dna when you smell it but its a bit fresher, less smokey. Lasts the same on me
Using the Parfum the remainder of Summer then use the Profumo in the Fall and Winter months.
I absolutely love Profumo, Profondo, absolu, and Aqua Di Gio EDP. I need to get my hands on the parfum.

I always reach for the EDP version just because it smells like the original went to get its masters smells clean and masculine

Original Acqua Di Gio was a staple back in the 90s. Back when Tommy Hilfiger was in style. Can’t go wrong with this DNA.

I think it's all personal preference. I prefer Profumo, but this new one is wonderful, and Profondo is guaranteed to get compliments.
