Tony, This surpassed my expectations! I am a big Barry Harris fan but I like your tutorials much better. You walk through each piece with a pace I can keep up with! You are a master teacher, or shall I call you professor Tony! Thanks for doing this song, I love it! Good voice too!
One of my favorite!
Thank you Tony!!!!
He’s still very much alive and In brilliant form and form currently touring Australia.
Love it, Tony!
Tony, I am "of a certain age"😊. And I love your tutorials and free downloads. God bless you. You inspire my piano journey. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful song Tony!
This song is an invitation to pure things.
And you sing very Well, sing it all Tony.
Thanks a lot.
One of those tunes that cuts right to the heart. And some really nice voicings. Okay, so here's a *request* -
An old tune called: _Hi Lily, Hi Lo_
Merry Christmas Tony!!! Another great tutorial. Thank you for keeping us excited w learning new stuff 😊❤
Merry Christmas to you Olivia !
TONY- YOU are the man- good going and very informative. THANK YOU
Thanks Tony… love your work! I saw Harry in Brisbane (Australia) 2 nights ago. His horn section was supreme!!! All 3 of his daughters now live in Australia, so perhaps that explains his absence from the US 😂
That’s so gorgeous ,thankyou
Hey thanks as always for the generous contributions... I never heard of the mu chord so I looked it up. I liked that you put it in a minor terms in order to examine it in different light. Looks like you fingered an Am7 shell with a 13 and 7 on top but if its an F its exactly as I read about which was just a 1235
I too am a big fan of Harry C. He pretty much disappeared from the scene. He tried the JaZz thing, tried the movie thing, tried the big band thing, tried the television thing. What's left? Anyway he at least released a few fresh & unique sounding albums / compositions that I still to this day enjoy listening to. I consider myself lucky to have found an old used copy of possibly the only book of sheet music he ever put out. First I tried the library, no luck. Next I tried music stores, no luck. Then Amazon, no luck. Finally struck gold at eBay. However they unfortunately first sent it to the wrong address but eventually I got it ( just wouldn't be Harry without a little suspense & drama ) I hope he's working on a new JaZz orientated project. I can always go for some new Harry C.🎧 Fingers crossed 🤞
If y’all really think Harry disappeared, y’all must not be listening. Some of his most memorable and impressive work has come in the last 2 decades.
Great song choice and great tutorial! "I'll dream of you again" is another good Harry Connick one I reckon.
I'll check it out, I don't remember that one.
Thank you so much for sharing this great arrangement, Tony! It really got my interest and I went and found the original 1987 recording of it. I lost count on how many times I've listened to it today and played along with your lead sheet. Wishing you the happiest of holidays!
… was he ever out of form! I didn’t mean like it sounded. Awesome talent!
Request! I’d be forever grateful for a full accompaniment of this song to sing along to. Love your tutorials
I'll give it a try
He’s about to tour down here in Australia maestro!
Hes on the australian idol! He's pretty cool. I like when he did the duos with dr John etc. was it macpherson too?
In general nice piece but when it comes to four dissonant cords I feel a little less comfortable. Three dissonant would be still ok.
He's been in Australia, performing. ❤
