It's interesting that of all the villains in the original series that they killed off, in Space Seed they decided not to kill off the best villain of them all, therefore leaving the door wide open for a film. Thank god!
Ricardo Montalban could have played a Teletubby and made it work...I don't know if I ever saw anything in which he was involved that wasn't worth a look. Anybody else think Dos Equis would have hit a home run back then by having him as The Most Interesting Man in the World?
Ricardo was a gentleman. And a great actor, of course.
greatest Star trek villian ever

This guy was a real actor. Very few like him left today...
He is what made that movie! Of course, I have to agree, it was the BEST script out of all of the Trek flicks! Live long and prosper Mr. Route!
A total class act was Mr. Montalban.

he was the best in both the original an legendary in all he did after. A truly fine actor
We miss you, Mr. Montalban. I wish someone would have asked him why Kahn wore one glove throughout the film.
great actor. very few will ever be his equal.
Class act.
Great Ricardo Montalban!
A bit of the World's Interesting Man was inspired by Ricardo.
I bet he was a great dad/grandfather.
Wow. No comments. Great interview, thanks for the upload.
