Hey man , I just wanna point out that there's a hole in your monitor stand for you to slot your hdmi cables inside so it can hide them better 😉. It's a good attempt but I still think there's ways to make it better ! 11:20. You could see the middle monitor stand has a hole for you to hide your cables so it won't appear as if the wires ran out. Quick tip : to hide your keyboard wires. You can drill a hole in the middle of your desktop and slot in your keyboard wires to make it cleaner !

OK naman yung cable management sir, malinis naman tignan. Sa setup ko though luma specs ng Pc ko, gumamit ako ng cable moulding sa mga wires then screw ko ito behind the desk then spiral sleeve naman dun sa wires naman behind ng monitor. For me, ok na iyang ganyan monitor arm kasi kung fixed type yung arm, ang hirap pantayin yung top edges ng monitor kung magkaiba ang size.
We have the same method I also used Cable Clips and that clear adhesive tape from shopee the difference lang talga is mas mabigat yung load ng wires sa inyo kaya in the long run pwedeng matanggal yung dikit.!! Recommendations: Monitor arm: NB H160 Dual Arm Double Monitor - can mount it vertically or side by side. available on Shopee & lazada cable management: slotted cable duct - will be visible under the desk but it still manages cables neatly and can let you reconfigure your setups easily. also won't occupy the space on the back of your table that you can use to stick on LED lights, i think?
Hi Ms. Aerea011. I think the ultrawide might be too heavy for the arm, as the specified monitor sizes is from 17" to 27" only, with the load from 4.4 -19.8 lbs (2-9KG) for each monitor.
@@dave032795 i think there's actually NB H180 for that which accomodates heavier monitors. They're both the same when it comes to design, only difference is the capacity. Edit: iirc, NB180 is only for up to 32" monitors. If his monitor is 34" then i guess it wouldn't support his monitor either.

What a neat work desk! I'll try to clean my ugly cables pag free na ko haha kakapalit lang kasi ng table kaya need mag ayos ulit. For me I always use cable ties worth 20-35 pesos... 100 pcs na per bag saka yung presyo depende sa size ng cable. Tapos bumili nadin ako ng 3M Doublesided Tape para matibay talaga kapit.
Nice. But trust me. The double adhesive will not last. I think only a few weeks sa akin. I ended up buying a screw type instead. Or better yet, glue gun kung ayaw mo mag butas sa mesa mo. Tanggalin ang stock adhesive and replace with glue using glue gun. Will last long
This is true for the long run. Fortunately, my problem are just 3 adhesive hooks kasi sobrang bigat Yung load. :p totoo, screw type the best. Metal bracket sa likod na Naka screw, perfect. Hoping it won't need to come to that though haha

Sa akin din kasi bigat nung cable. Halos parehas tayo nng ginawa na cable management. Since meron ako glue gun, ginamit ko pero pinalitan ko ng screw kasi after like few months bumagsak or nung dagdag ako ng cable, natanggal. So decide ako palit ng screw. ayun halos higit 1 yr na ginagamit ko pa rin :)
If you don't have a thick enough back table back to cover the wires, you can install a wooden cover so that you completely cover all the wires. :) but if you can fit it all in the back, good on you!

@@pugeelancer I went with Loop Alloy Single Arm Gas Lift, pero both have their own PROs and CONs. for Loop Alloy, the supposed cable management holes for both the KB/mouse sana sa mismong base ng arm could not fit the newer usb heads. so sayang.
@@pugeelancer I have the north bayou dual monitor mount while my brother has the loop alloy one. My brother had to add a folded paper sa likod ng mount para ipantay yung monitor while yung north bayou mas sturdy and mas flexible iadjust. Pero both gets the job done :)

you screwed in the vesa wrong. you have to screw in the top screws first, then mount the monitor, then screw the rest of the bottoms screws. either way, it does the job done, but that's just a tip

Working from remote but using my monitor, mouse, keyboard, webcam and microphone with the laptop sitting on my desk with his bulky docking station. Next to the table my router with way to much cable. Really annoying to switch the stuff to my own pc after work. Any advice to fix this or make it less messy and tedious?
Hi Arn! I would recommend you take a good look at your setup and figure out if you could hide wires behind the desk. If not, you may want to go with the option of getting a cable manager mount which you can drill to the bottom of the desk. It isn’t as clean but you won’t see the wires while you are working and is a much better option then wires taking control of your life while you work. :P

Thanks! Same supplier as the table top. A bit more expensive as opposed to getting it from ikea. However the table top they made for the Alex drawers are substantially more durable than the karlby and linmon top sold by ikea. You're cable management still has a lot of room for improvement. I have the exact same monitor arm and you obviously skipped the part where you should insert the monitor cable(s) to the other half of the arm.
Sir pwede makahingi ng tips on where to put the ups? Most of the setups na nakikita ko laging surge protector. Di kasi pwede surge protector lang dito sa area namin since laging nagbobrownout dito samin. As of now nakaibabaw lang siya sa desk ko at medyo messy siyang tingnan haha.
I have two "charging stations" in my room. One near the bed and the other near the printer which is near the pc. ua-cam.com/video/EUJyMNSL2GM/v-deo.html I highly recommend these adhesive cable organizers to act as the charging station. I placed it in the video description of the video i linked. :) while not within arms reach, I try to not use my phone when it is fast charging. If it's viber or whatsapp, I have the apps on my pc as well.
Thanks for the suggestions. Its really more on having an accessible power outlet. I sometimes unplug my charger when I take it to work (prepandemic) and bring my work laptop home. I ended up having the power strip around the far side of the desk.
I recommend getting a second charger and an extension cord. Ahhh but what you can also do is buy the extensio. USB cord I bought for my monitor (featured in the end of my video) and charge your phone through the monitor usb port.
Sir, yung mga double sided tape ba na yan nadikit sa lifetime table or plastic type tables? yun kasi gamit ko and gusto ko malinis uing mga letsugas na cables haha
Hi, it is not but you could probably find it in Ikea as well. Both pieces of furniture were hand made by a furniture supplier in Metro Manila, link to my table video is in the video description, they did the dresser as well. I made sure it was the same height as my desk.
Also you need to be versatile. Kanina tinangal ko keyboard ko. Had to remove all the cable ties :p Kung twist ties I wouldn't be able to reuse or attach them as quickly afterwards

This is like a 3 meter display port. No, I haven't experienced any input lag or anything. The monitor acts the way as it used to, which is 60hz.

I placed it in the video description of the video i linked. :) while not within arms reach, I try to not use my phone when it is fast charging. If it's viber or whatsapp, I have the apps on my pc as well.

Thanks for the suggestions. Its really more on having an accessible power outlet. I sometimes unplug my charger when I take it to work (prepandemic) and bring my work laptop home. I ended up having the power strip around the far side of the desk.
I recommend getting a second charger and an extension cord. Ahhh but what you can also do is buy the extensio. USB cord I bought for my monitor (featured in the end of my video) and charge your phone through the monitor usb port.
Here you won't need an extra charger. You just need to have a compatible retractable USB connector

Hi, it is not but you could probably find it in Ikea as well. Both pieces of furniture were hand made by a furniture supplier in Metro Manila, link to my table video is in the video description, they did the dresser as well. I made sure it was the same height as my desk.
Do you recommend using twist ties instead of velcro tie? I saw a 50m black twist tie in shopee for just 45 pesos.
Velcro all the way. More environmentally friendly and is reusable for years. Parang twist ties are only good for one use?
Also you need to be versatile. Kanina tinangal ko keyboard ko. Had to remove all the cable ties :p Kung twist ties I wouldn't be able to reuse or attach them as quickly afterwards
