I have just been through your website making up a list of new paints for me.... I was going to buy one of the 72 colour sets but you don't have one that is a proper colour wheel... It would be really nice if you folks made a colour wheel set with 5shades of each of the main colours

@@vallejocolors I was just curious as it is contrary to what I was taught. For warm colours white or light grey primer & for cold colours black or dark grey primer.
How many coats did it take to get the yellow to cover? probably at least 4-5. I'd personally either prime the mini white/light grey or at least go over the cloak with a white ink with the airbrush or something. This just seems uneccessary work.
I had at least 4 layers, yet it didn't covered well enought for me. I don't know chemistry behind paints, but it astonishes me how Vallejo made so wide range with great, smooth covering .... And then there are reds, oranges and yellows, wich fail miserably on darker surfaces.
@@juleksz.5785 The more contrast, the easier the coverage. Dark blue, dark green or dark red with black primer are a nightmare: use white primer instead and coverage will be easier. But this happens with all kind of figures and pieces, not only miniatures. We have the power to choose primers colors; thats why we have many color options available, because each one of them works best for a specific situation. Try it next time buddy 👍🏻

Yellow base on black primer is one of the hardest things to do in life.
It needs a lot of coats to cover black.

The way the first layer is applied to a black primer is ridiculous. I have to try it to see if it's true. Overall an awesome tutorial.

NEVER use white primer for yellow or light colors!!! 🙆🏼🤦🏼 omg, it is the worst color if you want yellow to cover the surface
By the way, brush use always needs more layers. Use this yellow, black primer with airbrush. You will cover the surface in record time

I mean, with airbrush every possible paint, but most people don't own compressors in first palce.
