I wonder if EA is creating angst artificially to manipulate people into being more than ready to buy the Sims 5 over this buggy mess? Surely no company can be this consistently incompetent for no reason? 🧐🤔
If that is there strategy it's a poor one. They are destroying what little was left of franchise loyalty. I do not believe the majority of the Sims 4 customer base will transfer to the Sims 5. People have stuck with the sims 4 because they've invested time and money in it, but as EA/Maxis refuse to address issues promptly or at all in Sims 4 it means a lot of the customer base will be skeptical of starting that process again with any iteration they put out. That's not even counting the fact that other lifegame simulators and games will compete for these customers.
There is whole history of EA abandoning their projects for new projects, The sims 4 shows it all perfectly. Every broken old pack, rare meaningless bugfixes and tons of content breaking apart in new packs. Still they have RESOURCES for new BROKEN packs There should be at least one BIGGER range of fixes all the time.
You know these bugs are like unmanageable when James Turner quits in the middle of his playthrough because its so bad it couldn't be played. This has gotten ridiculous.
Correction: Modders should stop providing fixes completely. Modders HAVE to stop doing EA's job for them, this is completely ridiculous; them providing fixes when EA refuses to gives EA the perfect excuse to ignore the bugs on their game. If all modders stopped fixing this game, EA would feel the pressure to actually do their job. People buying every new pack and modders being relied on to fix the game are both equal parts of the problem.
I personally stopped buying anything from them in a year (and last one, Growing Together, was given to me as a gift as it came out). Even if I feel sometimes a little scratch to get a new pack, I stop myself. I don’t want to give them any more of my very little money, even if as I single I know it doesn’t make an impact on them at all obviously. But if more will stop as I did it could go somewhere, and I say it as a lifelong fan as I started playin with The Sims, their first game, when I was a tween.
I stopped buying these just after Werewolves but I couldn't make any Sims bevause every sim would have scars from the werewolf pack that I couldn't remove because of a CAS bug, by that point I was sick to the back teeth of this sort of shit and dropped the game
100% I haven't bought anything since Rent pack was so buggy. Everytime I think about it they release another broken pack and it reminds me to not give in to this.
I've been a simmer since sims 2. I've never witnessed such a lack of accountability from a company. Honestly, If we keep buying these packs and whatever else they sell us these issues will never be fixed. Everything we think is accurate. They don't care because we keep buying whatever they put out. Are we really tired of the bs? A boycott is the only answer.
@@moonrainchildtv honestly that shouldn't be our resolve. They have a broken product. We're paying customers and deserve respect for our contribution to making sims be a success.

I agree. I actually want this pack, but I won’t be buying it. Every pack they’ve released recently has been broken. Bare minimum they should be pricing paying g customers with a game that works. They can’t even do that.

This is a hot take, but I think modders (as generous as they are with their services) are unfortunately encouraging EA to not take action to make official corrections to their own product. As a company, they're not going to want to spend time, money, and resources when a third party is providing fixes or workarounds for absolutely no charge, and most importantly no further expenses on EA's part. Instead, EA will continue to release broken content because they know that they'll churn a profit regardless. I agree with MachiTea - it's time for players to boycott.
I made a similar comment months ago. It's not on modders to come up with the fixes for the EA's mess. They're basically working for a major gaming company FOR FREE.
it took a modder less than a day to make a mod to remove the shopping cart. so ofc now EA isnt gonna want to actually remove it. unfortunately they themselves keep forgetting not everyone has access to CC and Mods
No boycott. Start 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️ their games. I started this weekend and got the entire Sims 4 collection for me and my kid. It's been great and bugs aren't as bad when you're not paying for the product.
Sadly, there's way more sheep following them then there are people who have sense, like you and me, and probably a few others. It won't make a difference.
I just went back to The Sims 3. Have not touched the sims 4 since this update. Most of my mods were broken. So been patiently waiting for creators to fix.
As a console player I am happy for mac and pc players who have models to fix these problems but am also quite jealous. Since we can't play with mods, console players just have to bear with game breaking glitches. I can not stress this enough, please do not forget about glitches, bugs, or problems that exist in the game because a mod can fix it! We need mac and pc players to be vocal about these issues or else they take up to a year to be fixed.
It sounds like the Sims 4 game engine is near death... it started off as a weak game engine that never meant to hold more than 4 years worth of content, and I'm surprised it lasted this long. The game engine is in the process of breaking and I'm afraid it's past the point of saving.
I think you are 100% correct! The Sims 3 was released in 2009 and content stopped at the end of 2013. The Sims 2 was released in 2004 and content stopped at the end of 2004. It is now 10 years after the release of The Sims 4 and the game is falling apart at the seams. They should’ve stopped releasing content after Island Living.
This is a pro and con to modders, they can fix the game and put The Sims/EA to shame but it doormats the modders to fix what The Sims/EA needs to fix and it is so sad 🙂😵💫 And yes I am experiencing it. I never had a problem with bugs until now, it's Agnes Crumplebottom on hiatus 😵💫😓
@@emmalee28 yeah it's a diversion tactic and it's so selfish on ea/Sims 4's part. I think that is why they put out those special VIP creators passes and creator codes back in 2022-early 2023 🧠
And the other horrible thing with these new bugs is that people forget about the fact that the shopping cart is still in the game, so EA will get away with keeping it in there. And that will lead to it automatically being there in the sims 5 when that comes out.
How ironic that one guy in his bedroom ( an amusing assumption but you know what I mean) can fix and enhance a game that has millions of dollars behind it and multiple people working on it but can't fix it themselves. I have said multiple times that Sims 4 is not worth playing without mods (it is the only game I own in which I use mods), I for one greatly appreciate the work the modders put in . xxxxxxx
@@ZoomZoomBoom24I am not tech savvy either, my daughter showed me how to download mods and babysat me through the process a couple of times but now I can download like a crazy person! I have over 700 mods and custom content items now. It is a real pain updating them all at patch time though much easier now I have Curseforge. I can walk you through it if you want? xxx
Nah, EA is gonna EA and they’re going to find out the best way to milk more money from players. I’ve finally uninstalled Sims though (mainly to make room for a BG3 patch) and I’ve decided to just wait for Paralives and life by you, rather than attempt to redownload Sims in the future
Nah, Sims will rather go the Sim city route before EA will change their ways. They don't care about the games long history or the playerbase. As soon as Sims doens't bring in the big bucks or is to big of a hassle to keep alive, they are just going to scrap it completely.
Never been so happy that I just disabled auto updates before the patch. At this point, I’m not updating. I can live with my current bugs, I’m tired of updating mods and I don’t plan on supporting packs pasts the ones I already have. Definitely not coming back for the sims 5 either
Agree on the tired of updating mods and haven't bought packs or anything since horse ranch and have only been buying packs when they where on sale for a long time now. Curseforge made it harder to update mods in my opinion. Haven't felt like playing the game in months either and I'm def not coming back.
Werewolves are showing up everywhere even though I have them confined to Moonwood. Bunnies pop up where there is no bunny tree and can't be gifted. My game crashes all the time. Mods are disabled.
I purchased the pack, and updated my game just a couple days ago (not right when both first released) and, I have no shopping cart icons...and none of the bugs. And, I am playing with mods. Makes me wonder if these bugs don't have to do with that shopping cart? I also have to say, I am really enjoying this pack. It's making me use other packs in the game, like Get Together, Island Living, Outdoor Retreat, Jungle Adventure and Cats and Dogs. I built a Rocketship, braved a volcano and became an expert adventurer...all in the name of jewelry making. I also used the Making Money scenerio for my R2R playthrough...which is how I always play. I'm loving it.
Former sims 3 player here. You say they won't fix the bugs and legacy saves are doom. You are 100% correct They're not going to fix anything. There is a corrupting bug in World Adventures that makes your family disappear when you start a vacation. It's been there for YEARS, there has been no fix. Anything they say about fixing the bugs will be empty platitudes. I've had to restart my legacy saves no less than five times over the course of several years because each expansion would bring with it a new destructive horror. Eventually I just gave up on it.
I have not updated my game because of all the mess and only play offline at the moment. The Sims 4 has been broken for years and it seems to be all come crashing down now.
I haven't experienced many of these bugs but tbh...with shit how it is now, I'm scared to even log in to the game. I have a save file that I've been working on. I'm remodeling every single lot and refreshing every NPC as well as adding my own builds and sims. I'd be CRUSHED if I lost it.
I’m not buying packs anymore, I’ve been playing the sims since 08 and this is so disappointing. The Sims 4 crashed and burned since launch and all they care about is money. I get a company needs money to thrive, but I’m just done and their passion is gone. They don’t listen and I find the game unplayable. It was a good run.
Thank you for staying on top of all this stuff, and sharing fixes and everything. It is nerve wracking to play legacy games and things and knowing you will let us know as soon as you find stuff out, good or bad, makes me feel better.
Another thing. When it comes to uploading on the gallery we should have options for friends only instead of it just shared for everyone or not at all, but if we can’t get simple things I doubt we will get this added.
Dumpster fire ? It's not just what is in the dumpster that is on fire. it's the dumpster itself that is on fire. That first line from that post from Turbodriver just shattered my reinforced super heavy duty Irony meter as well as my sarcasm meter. Those play time bugs are poisoning me as I play in live mode for well over 99% of the time. Recently, a bug is causing ALL the collectibles that my Sim find to go straight to the household inventory. Then, when I try to place them on the lot, an error message flashes in red text and everything stay in the house inventory.🤬Plants, crystals, metals, frogs, you name it. Also, my garden refuse to bear fruits.🤬🤬🤬 Yes, the glass is half empty... The problem is that what is left in it is nothing but 💩
Seeing ts4 at this state is really heartbreaking as a long time fan. Ive been watching and playing the sims series since the first. Ive even played what i consider one of the worst ports of the sims (ts2 pets for gamecube) and even that buggy, broken, and bland mess didnt piss me off nearly as much as ts4
Thanks for sharing this! I’ve got thousands of hours into my save file and For Rent ate holes in and forced me to start over. I had all the packs and basically play vanilla. It’s time for EA to stop paying Creators to sell their packs and, instead, pay them to troubleshoot their game before release. What a mess! #SimsBoycott
@@Bella-zw5vt assuming the victim knew of the manipulation in the first place. No one experiences things the same way, and everyone has their own breaking point. It will always be EA's fault.
@claudiacarvalho9562 oh come on! It goes both ways! It's like an addict exploiting their family member! Family supports addict because they love them, addict exploits family's love. BOTH parties are at fault and BOTH are guilty! Personal responsibility IS a thing! All 3 things can be true at once! So many times on forums and on UA-cam people who support boycott are greated with: dOn'T tElL PeOpLe HoW tO sPeNd ThEiR MoNeY! And then they cry about it when...surprise! Another pack is realised and it's dog poop, or dog poop with little content. How many times are you gonna pee on the toilet seat before you realise it's probably a good idea to put it up yourself?! We are in the same boat (mostly, save for the people that come here to watch the world burn). We need to take responsibility with our money and our choices. Someone has to break the cycle, and with EA making bank it's sure as hell not gonna be them.
Modders are quick to respond because if no one can play the sims, then no one is using/purchasing their mods for the game. I haven't opened my game in a very long time for fear of my save games being corrupted. I play on console. I saw someone in a Facebook group say all of their saves were gone, and posted a photo. Its very scary for people that have many hours invested into these saves.
The bugs are ridiculous. I had to send my sim to rehab twice because the moodlets didn’t save when I exited the game! Turbodriver came up with a temporary fix.
Breaking news: they are trying a new version of the blinking icon... Mine never did the whole button blink, but now mine has a bright yellow dot next to it that blinks. It's so distracting
Are sims' pregnancies attached to moodlets? Because it'd be pretty funny to load up your game and suddenly your sim is no longer carrying around a pixelated crotch goblin in the form of some green or orange squares on your HUD LMAO
I’m a console player. Since the pack dropped I’ve not even been able to load onto the game as the loading screen never stops. EA needs to fix this asap because I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game, just to not be able to play it. EA, just fix it. It’s embarrassing at this point.
This patch completely broke Wicked Whims for me. I keep getting last exceptions back to back, which gives me SEVERAL bright orange error messages in game every literal minute or so. It makes my sims take either their pants or their entire outfit off and never put it back on at all. 🙃So they are permanently stark naked, and they also become stuck regardless of debugging and won't even use the toilet. I have never seen such a horrible state in the 6 years I've been playing this game. Le sigh... vanilla mode it is! Oh wait, I forgot. I am having some of the aforementioned bugs, even when playing with zero mods.
somehow i've managed to avoid all the bugs i've seen talked about other than the frequent crashing, but just to be safe i'm not gonna be touching the game until the save breaking bugs are fixed. my main save means too much to me to risk losing it
It's because of bugs that I stopped playing now for a while... I quit around all the bugs related to For Rent 😮💨 And seeing stuff like this is NOT an incentive to start playing again.
Why the heck haven't they hired some of these mod creators to be bug squashers for the game itself? Its like they don't have a team for bug fixing alone.
Major shout out to Turbo! Sad tho that a modder can come up with a solution within days and The Sims team is in the break room sitting on their hands 🙄
I stopped buying packs about a year ago after Horse Ranch. It broke every single one of my saves, completely corrupted them. I have barely touched the game and it honest breaks my heart how it’s all gone down. TS4 was my major introduction to the Sims (I also played sims freeplay, but got frustrated with the paid weekly quests), and it was all because of Island Living. That was what convinced me to invest into the game. I thought the glitches; mermaid running on water, swimming on land, were hilarious! Even before I played the sims, the patch notes of older games made me laugh harder than anything else in the world. It’s only been down hill from there, though.
I love sims 4 and being able to create and have my own little worlds there has helped me through so many hardships in my life. I am the odd one out here but I love and am grateful for Sim4. ❤
I've not had the moodlet bug but i had a spellcaster sim she'd been back and forth to the magic realm with no problems. But the last time i went back everything was messed up. The main building was just not there, the portal was gone and so was one of the shops! Couldn't go home either no matter how many times i told her to then it crashed. When i tried to load her up again it didn't have her portrait on the save and when i actually clicked it it wanted me to pick a season again. Tried loading other saves and it was doing the same thing. Tried a completely new sim none spellcaster this time and exact same thing. I couldn't even travel to the lot next door.
My Sims heads are squashed thin, and they look like weasels with very large eyes. I have a flashing cart on top. of my screen. I have a crash every time I go to the Magic World.
A few weeks ago, I was so excited about how the castle creation kit would fit so well into my decades challenge playthrough, and now I feel like I'll never see my medieval family again... Oh well, I probably will once Sims 5 is out, and we won't receive crappy updates for the Sims 4 anymore, and modders have found the solution to every last bug 😂
I can’t even play right now… my current player household is stuck at a gym and every time I even try to go back home, manage worlds, etc, I am stuck in a loading screen!! I removed all mods… still no luck
How are you still in the pre rent patch? I have to log into the EA app ONLINE every time I want to play. And, I can't load Sims 4 until it is updated. I miss Origin!
@@thegirl4genius797not sure how OP does it but I do it by logging in to the EA app as normal and then turning off Wi-Fi on my computer. Forces the app offline and lets me play S4 without updating. It’s fiddly but it works (at least for me) and means that I can play without breaking my mods every week when the new patch comes out. Haven’t had an update since Werewolves and not planning to have another anytime soon. I wholeheartedly agree though, I miss origin. It was much easier there.
@@thegirl4genius797 After logging into EA app, go to the top left corner and there's a " go offline" option. Yall remember on the sims 2 when the bad glitches were just your toddlers arms stretching or your sim taking a few extra seconds to start an action? Yeah… I miss it too.
I started creating sims content but every single update breaks the game. So, yea no content creating for me. I wait months after a new pack comes out before I decide to get it. I’ve been playing since the sims hot date. This is just tragic and disappointing and I can’t wait for paralives to come out.
This is why I took a break from the game and go outside with friends. I admit it's been a while since we hang out post college and went to the nearby cafe and socialize. As a gamer myself I have to make a 5th save file for this pack, that was the second time that my legacy save file was nearly deleted due to performance issues first for rent, now crystal creation. For rent my game just crashed and booted me out not an issue I can just log back in with the previous save, but crystal creation I have encountered the blue screen of death, I was lucky my legacy file was not deleted that's ten years old. I did some work around of the game but I could only play 3 hours without crashing the game instead of my usual 4 hours. I have work, so I can't play 8 hours like I used to. I'm currently playing another game, while waiting for another patch since I'm a vanilla player.
we will all be fools to think sims 5 will be any better. the only way to get their attention is to TRULY stop buying anything they are throwing out. we can't keep lining their pockets and then complain when this has been a pattern of theirs for so many years. its never going to get fixed until the money stops coming in.
EVERYONE!!! I just made a tweet taggin The Sims and EA about this whole situation AND LITERALLY ONE SECOND LATER I SEE MY TWEET NO WHERE! AS IF I NEVER PUBLISHED IT! Update: Ok. NOW the tweet is avaliable. But I'll be watching you close EA!
Yes, my game have been doing this since apartments came out. I have not been able to play my game and then when I do play and that sign out I can’t get back in.
It’s amazing because these people are literally amazing for being able to do this stuff with games, but they’re doing the Sims jobs for them honestly and I feel like it’s making the Sims feel like they can get away with being lazy because the motors will just fix it, but that’s not a fix for everybody
I’ve honestly not open my save since the last patch update mostly because I have been waiting on some modders to update and spending time culling my mods after work. Pluing a GAME shouldn’t be this painstaking. And I have no intrest in playing if it’s not my ongoing legacy save and I do not want to risk it right now. Sims 2 is my sanity right now. So glad Aspyr has control of the Mac port and not EA. And that I kept my old Mac mini around.
Tbh mods are really helping to fix the game I have the preteen mod and it can rest teen sims so it helped me reset my teens highet when she got smaller and fixed it
i mainly plays ffxiv, the way i feel about the ffxiv dev teams treats their customers vs the way ea/the sims team treats theirs is just soo different, i feel ffxiv fixes their bugs instantaneously even explained and also apologised for the inconvenience, while ea they seems kinda ignoring it, i even think what i paid in ffxiv actually returned back to the game, this summer we will get graphics update and new expansions and i’m sure new experiences, while the newest expansion from the sims 4 it wasn’t really game changing, oh and both games are closely in same age. i think
Honestly at this point, hire mod creators to fix the sims 4. They're doing it for free anyways and they actually care about people playing the game rather than a plug for packs or merch
The amount of good will that would bring in could actually see $$$ in profit for ea. And I could finally trust that there’s competent passionate people coding for the sims again… that’s how I vote we pitch it to ea 😂

But I have had my game turning itself off completely (not freezing actually just the game closing) for no apparent reason every hour or less.

Thank GOD I didn't update my game yet! A few years ago i started with my tactics to not update the game immediately after EA releases a patch and it saved me so much trouble. I rather am not able to access the gallery in that time than destroying my save files 🙈 This game is such a sad mess and it's even more sad that there is still nothing compared to it on the market right now...
Having modders being the onee to fix the game they mod for is the equivalent to teenagers having to parent their younger siblings cause their parents aren't doing anything
I haven't touched my game or the EA app since just before the update, and I'll be leaving it alone until the major issues are fixed. Even though I could technically play my tester save (where i build, create sims, play test, etc) it's already too buggy. I almost feel like the end of the sims 4 is going to be less of a "we're not developing this anymore" and more of a "we've permanently broken it and have given up trying to fix anything" edited for spelling
I didn’t buy the jewelry collection. But I was forced to update the game with the latest patch. And… it’s full of bugs. Edit:Turbodriver… isn’t he wicked wims? The “adult” mod guy. He’s good. But… I’m not playing for a few months. On to Nightingale!
Yeah Turbo makes wicked and wonderful (the version without the adult stuff) whims, though on top of the obvious relationship and…adult stuff, both mods give you way more control over your sims’ emotions, buffs and moodlets, so I’m not remotely surprised that’s where this fix came from.

You might be on to something there
I made a similar comment months ago.
Yeah, Bethesda does the same thing.
No boycott. Start 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️ their games. I started this weekend and got the entire Sims 4 collection for me and my kid. It's been great and bugs aren't as bad when you're not paying for the product.
I’ve stopped buying Sims 4 content for some years now, more people need to do the same. EA has to see that we don’t wanna put up with this bs anymore!
It too late
I quit purchasing Sims 4 packs after Growing Together the game just is not good so many better options coming soon.
Sadly, there's way more sheep following them then there are people who have sense, like you and me, and probably a few others. It won't make a difference.

Sad to be scared to play a game I have spent hundreds of dollars to play, because I don't want my game or saves broken.
Could you export your save files onto an external hard drives just in case?
As a console player I am happy for mac and pc players who have models to fix these problems but am also quite jealous. Since we can't play with mods, console players just have to bear with game breaking glitches. I can not stress this enough, please do not forget about glitches, bugs, or problems that exist in the game because a mod can fix it! We need mac and pc players to be vocal about these issues or else they take up to a year to be fixed.
Dumpster fire … but yet people continue to feed the flames with their £$£$ 💵💵💵💵
It sounds like the Sims 4 game engine is near death... it started off as a weak game engine that never meant to hold more than 4 years worth of content, and I'm surprised it lasted this long.

And yes I am experiencing it. I never had a problem with bugs until now, it's Agnes Crumplebottom on hiatus 😵💫😓
Unfortunately that's also part of the problem. So long as modders go out of their way to fix EA's shit, EA will never bother to do it themselves.
@@emmalee28 yeah it's a diversion tactic and it's so selfish on ea/Sims 4's part. I think that is why they put out those special VIP creators passes and creator codes back in 2022-early 2023 🧠
I was gonna say what about console players, but let's be real: EA doesn't care 😂🙃
maybe EA wants the modders to fix it, why should they waste money on fixing problems when 3rd party is going to do it for free?
And the other horrible thing with these new bugs is that people forget about the fact that the shopping cart is still in the game, so EA will get away with keeping it in there. And that will lead to it automatically being there in the sims 5 when that comes out.
How ironic that one guy in his bedroom ( an amusing assumption but you know what I mean) can fix and enhance a game that has millions of dollars behind it and multiple people working on it but can't fix it themselves. I have said multiple times that Sims 4 is not worth playing without mods (it is the only game I own in which I use mods), I for one greatly appreciate the work the modders put in . xxxxxxx
I literally cannot play this game without mods. It's so fucking boring without them. Pretty sad for game that costs a thousand dollars.
I don't even know how to use mods or put them on my game. I'm not tech savvy enough 😢
@@ZoomZoomBoom24I am not tech savvy either, my daughter showed me how to download mods and babysat me through the process a couple of times but now I can download like a crazy person! This is just ridiculous the way that they treat simmers
I want to say once the big competitors come out (Paralives, Life by You) that EA might be motivated to change their ways.. but of course they won't
Modders really are the backbone of this game. Thank you for everything you do, modders.
They always have been since The Sims. I never played a vanilla game been playing since The Sims.
simcity: first time?
The "This is fine" meme picture feels fitting right now.
I don’t have these issues but it could be bc I play on console instead of pc
Make a backup in a seperate folder somewhere on your PC, I regularly do this with my save files, just to be save

Also, my garden refuse to bear fruits.🤬🤬🤬
Yes, the glass is half empty... The problem is that what is left in it is nothing but 💩
That's the reason why I've been playing offline, I'm refusing to update my game until this is fixed and all my favourite mods are updated.

I’m a console player. Since the pack dropped I’ve not even been able to load onto the game as the loading screen never stops. EA needs to fix this asap because I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game, just to not be able to play it. EA, just fix it. It’s embarrassing at this point.
the HR dept at EA for the sims 4 needs to hire a bunch of modders and clean this shit up. i have found alot of work arounds, but i shouldnt have too.

I'm just over here enjoying my Sims 3 again after downloading the mod that got rid of my lag and freezing. Life's good and stress free. 😉😊
Anyone else have a gardening bug?? They get stuck in a loop (mostly with weeding) and then your garden completely deteriorates over time.
I really want to know whether they feel bad for all of this.. like.. at all.
this is why i went back to playing ts3 and ts2
somehow i've managed to avoid all the bugs i've seen talked about other than the frequent crashing, but just to be safe i'm not gonna be touching the game until the save breaking bugs are fixed. my main save means too much to me to risk losing it
It's because of bugs that I stopped playing now for a while...
Is anybody really surprised tho, it’s sadly just become an expected thing after patches and new packs 🤦🏻♀️
Right
Yup, hence why I didn't get the for rent patch, I'm just waiting for a patch that seems stable, but it doesn't seem forthcoming...
i dont remember the game this broken since i played it..
This. We haven't had a good pack since waaaaay before Wedding Stories.
This is why I wait a minimum of a week before updating my game bc I can't imagine having to deal with all of this
My Sims heads are squashed thin, and they look like weasels with very large eyes.

I started creating sims content but every single update breaks the game. So, yea no content creating for me. I wait months after a new pack comes out before I decide to get it.

My sims can’t eat, do their homework, bathe, I’m exhausted.
It’s amazing because these people are literally amazing for being able to do this stuff with games, but they’re doing the Sims jobs for them honestly and I feel like it’s making the Sims feel like they can get away with being lazy because the motors will just fix it, but that’s not a fix for everybody
the moodlet bug is catastrophic. like wtf
Modders doing EA's job, smh. EA is just pure lazy. Thank goodness for modders.
Now I want my money back 😊
Tbh mods are really helping to fix the game
I have the preteen mod and it can rest teen sims so it helped me reset my teens highet when she got smaller and fixed it
i mainly plays ffxiv, the way i feel about the ffxiv dev teams treats their customers vs the way ea/the sims team treats theirs is just soo different, i feel ffxiv fixes their bugs instantaneously even explained and also apologised for the inconvenience, while ea they seems kinda ignoring it, i even think what i paid in ffxiv actually returned back to the game, this summer we will get graphics update and new expansions and i’m sure new experiences, while the newest expansion from the sims 4 it wasn’t really game changing, oh and both games are closely in same age. i think
Honestly at this point, hire mod creators to fix the sims 4. They're doing it for free anyways and they actually care about people playing the game rather than a plug for packs or merch
