Bee giving Averly and Zerton a mutual enemy instead of just focusing on his expansion to Crackety's island was an act of total suicide. Created an alliance where there was brewing conflict and still pissed off Crackety making it 3v1.
First he suicided this Match, now his Career.

Hey Aussie, I think the Outback Octagon Series deserve their own playlist on your channel. I'ts a very enjoyable series and I don't want to be missing out on any!
at the end, i just couldn't figure out why zertan didn't go to the island south of his home island and build a dock down there to further increase his trade power, or even just the south end of his home island, he could have been lightyears more efficient with his trade there, but regardless, he pulls off such a giga-chad win.
I had the same thought, but maybe it was to prevent anyone noticing how many traders he had. Anytime someone had a very noticeable trade line, they were a target. Zerton won partly because he was underestimated the whole game.
Wow, Zerton didn't even build a single warship on a dedicated water map where the majority of combat is naval and he still wound up winning in the end.
The thing with HRE in these island maps is the relics. With regnitz, if you go around the map picking relics, you will get a very good and safe gold eco for the rest of the game. But if you garrison relics in keeps, not only do they get more armor, damage and line of sight, they also get +20% range, meaning they can hit baochads from a distance. This is what makes the elzbach so damm good, its a shame the 33% damage reduction isnt global (i really wish it whould be) but put a relic and all emplacements on that thing and it will not go down easily

that szalami didnt even notice his wonder was being attacked while he was focusing on landing his troops. makes me mad, and i think he was too when he saw. what a timing, but also poor awareness, one emergency repair immideatly clicked when it took damage coupled with the troops and vills on the island and it would have been ez def

imo at the end szlami and crackedy should have teamed and try a landmark snipe on zerton. szlami had the res for bombards, crackedy had the navy, and if they succeded, it whould be #1 for szlami and #2 for crackedy, on top of 3 points for whoever finished zerton. but crackedy ends with with #2 anyways so gg
szlami could have even agreed to delete his wonder.
@@SeigmeyerFreud maybe, he did manage to continue a very efficient trade route after zerton controled both sacred site islands, he could take out crackedy in a 1v1
yeah i think it was really down to the mental stress. its easy to focus on the big bad countdown and ge tlost in the sauce

All of Zerton's landmarks were at ship firing distance, Crackedy had it and didn't know it

The attrition and fights for resources really makes these games so suspenseful never has a movie occupied me this much for so long than this has with the amazing commentary by both.

These ffa tourneys have to become more regular or a league or something. This game was the most exciting one so far and the Nomad FFA are by far the best games aoe4 has to offer. I love seeing the different strats and landmarks everygame.

If Szalami just deleted his wonder it would give all the attention to Sacred Sites and they would decap it together then he could go for landmark snipe on Crackedy with his insane eco. Not sure 100% but he could have managed it I think.

I don’t think this will be a one off, these guys know how popular it is. I won’t watch 1v1 again, but I can’t wait for each new cast of this format. I barely play the game and still watch this as soon as it’s uploaded.

Orange player started with a boar in TC range, pop villagers in tc, 2 shot boar and get it on the tc edge. Still had no gold to work with though.

If you want to know who kills a landmark when its close check the number of buildings razed for each player. 40:41
The way lidakor spells bruh is hilarious, tho he started pronouncing correctly throughout the game
Bruh Salami drop the ball so hard there, he could have Emergency repair the wonder, plus villager repair while bombards focus on those barracks instead of just looking at them. Delay the attack on the sacred sites and easily clean that green island later without getting distracted by the blue player. Big messed up right there.

I think it means who you're at a war with. In a diplomacy game where you can actually make an ally it may go to a different symbol.
@@Bizzair1990 1 year late but correct. It's helpful if you're playing with independent coloring for players. Makes it easy to see who is your teammates with a quick glance. Should be easy anyways, but saving a second occasionally is nice.

Obviously I'm watching Drongo's perspective, but I'm amazed how many times Lidakor is just completely oblivious to something important, and he just keeps talking for minutes without giving Drongo a chance to correct him, or focus his attention elsewhere. Drongo's too polite perhaps.
tbh same thing happens vice versa. how many times doesnt drongo apologize for missing some huge event? its just hard to keep track of all the action all the time

what a dumb decision kaup absolutely could have won this. he completely throw this away. all he had to do is slowly weaken the other 3 plays. if he knocked out 1 or 2 of the navies first he could have won. he was so many resources compared to everyone else. what a shame that he got greedy and impatient

Ngl Drongo really needs to be a little more pushy with his co-commentator lol there’s so so many times in these matches the other commentator is droning on about something so unimportant while Drongo stares silently at a game changing event just circling it with his mouse
Idk I think the co casters pick up on more game changing events than Drongo

when the co-caster wants to elaborate on a more global or unrelated to the action topic it’s important to stick to a sort of elevator pitch style of telling your point within 15-20 seconds to give Drongo the chance to get back into the action that he sees unfolding on his screen.
Because let’s be real here : We are all here for Drongo , he is clearly the giga chad of AoE4 casters .

Lidicor just talks too much and drags on way too long. Seems like he just want to talk. It gets repetitive really fast.
Seems like a terrible tournament map. Why not only use balanced maps in tournament play? Honest question as someone who usually watches SC2.
These are awesome, but can the second guy please do less of a aoe4 tutorial commentary, specially when there is other things happening. It becomes really annoying after a while :)

@@nguyenphuvinh7064 landmak victory could simulate that if you conquer capitals or decisions centres you win and it's ok historically......but not with scout pls......i know it's good cheap strat....but scout is scout.....it's a starting unit that scouts.....it shoud have a max 10 or 15 numbers limit

This game is tiring. AOE3 is in its best shape to date and I am not coming back to IV until they fix the hotkey issue, fix all the non-medieval crap and and provide something new to play for. If you want to play a cannon game, play AOE3.

While I like the chaos, it would be fairer if maps were more symmetrical and everyone got an OK fair spawn.
Of course it would be fair if everyone had a symmetrical spawn, but then everybody would just boom, go to age4 and the game would be boring.

I would happily continue watching these casts with cleaner language if it meant I could share them with more of my friends and family. And maybe the community as a whole would grow due to the extra shareability as well.
