1v1 is so "last year"; these 8v8 are the real deal. And made SO MUCH more enjoyable, thanks to Drongo; the best AoE4 game caster in the world! Thank you, sir!
Not really it’s just kinda random doesn’t really show any skill unless you are fighting off 2 or 3 people in a game but most of these games are so gay like don in this game stabbed his friend in the back let his enemies waste resources on the wonder and push in last second take it out and win zero skill mostly brains
Don Artie played this like a boss. He was already heading south with his army when Wam built his wonder so he destroyed Wam's forward base and a portion of the walls and poked his head in the base, I'm sure after that he said "Hey guys you have to help me out" to the other two players. He withdrew, secured up the sacred sites, and went in again with the other two players to destroy Wam's wonder at almost the last possible second. At that point the other two players were of course going to turn on him but there's only so much they can do to secure a sacred site...he's got the right idea with those. With a Wonder, you don't have to destroy the opponents army or even beat your opponent's army. You just have to destroy the Wonder. With a sacred site, especially the way Don does it, you have to eliminate EVERY SINGLE FUCKING UNIT in a sacred site and that's just hard to do. Hats off, what a great play by the Don.

since its another game with Delhi, here's Attempt 4 at trying to bring drongos attention to the elephant zeal bug, wherein an elephant healed by a scholar with zeal researched will permanently have their tusk attack speed reduced from 2.75 to 5.75, this bug has been in the game since the additional fix for elephant animation cancelling, but no one seems to be talking about it! Outback octagon and large FFA games like this that go the distance are where this bug hinders delhi the most, it hindered the elephants performance when the elephant armies clashed for don Artie and vortex, and it really could've been the difference in the game if those grenadiers couldn't fire over that wall
Chinas should build stone walls for their grenadiers in the enemy base. The buff is sooo significant for grenadiers on walls. More range, more dmg, more armor and the great stonewall gate makes them so strong.

I actually don’t think china is the best free for all civ, I think it’s Abbasid just because they have this insane trade while china don’t have this gold and stone income, of course they have they’re taxes but it isn’t that much and another thing for Abbasid is just they’re access to the camel archer which is one of the most insane lategame units and it’s Cavallry so on those large maps it is so strong
Drongo.. you might be onto something of a little renaisance of a subgenre in strategy games here, how Dota developed from the wc3 regular game, keep it up i so wish this trend of large map megarandom 8 player FFA empire building subgenre grows, i am so tired of stale cheesy 1 v 1's, even 2 v 2's is a little stale at this rate, 3 v 3's is a golden median, and 4 v 4 is a chaosfest.
Why didn't Wam move his army down to the wonder when it was getting focused down by the elephants and grenadiers? Seems like he would have been able to hold that for 21s.

I just played against Wam01 yesterday in the redbull wololo, and man I need more practice - which is hard to come by for me these days because of work. But my biggest mistake was I forgot that you only needed 400 food and 200 gold to age up at first and thought it was 1200 food instead - what a dumbass I am!

yes, i think this may be the secret to get aoe4 as popular as 2 - more team games with diplo and chats visible. Regicide would be awesome too.

Fun fact: Wololo is hardcoded to not go over 200 pop. Even when the game pop limit is 300, it will kill all the units if you are over 200.
