As a very long suffering Ireland fan I am beyond excited by the reactions I'm hearing from yourselves and the other fan sites. There still is this doom(sday) laden part of me that's worrying about it somehow not resonating with the voting public and missing out. Just qualifying would be such a result and vindication for them. As the saying goes "it's the hope that kills you".
I don't think it'd be a NQ but it might be too radical to do well in the final. we'll see.
Windows95man said that he needs to aim the pyro up because on earlier rehersals the sparks broke 100-200 of the floor led tiles and they needed to be replaced.
He also burned his sock and foot in one rehearsal...

I didn't think the older audience of the RTE Late Late Show would receive Doomsday Blue well, but they won both the televote and the jury vote. Maybe people on the continent of Europe will vote for it as well? 🤔 💬

I still like Azerbaijan song... actually it the only song i listen all over again, some kind of the mix of George Michael, Portishead and Enigma... I don't know, maybe it's just not for Eurovision, but the song is really good!!!

I find the Croatian song dreadful, but I would love a first-time winner and BL’s really adds up to the whole magic here. Not my favorite, but I’m ready to Zagreb 2025 if it comes to that

Cyprus is fresh, youthful, full of energy, she dances 3 mins non stop and she delivers. I think you are being too strict, which is ok in a sense, cause it means you believe in Cyprus and you always expect the best. Good luck to everyone and happy eurovision week!
It's also on first and very generic - traditionally one of the first three songs doesn't Q - and this seems way more likely than Serbia.
Cyprus will make it to the final!!

10:53 I completely agree with Gabe about Ukraine. That high note shouldn't be part of the 1st chorus. They should keep it for 2nd chorus and make the moment of high note more impactful.

Croatia's chances of winning is growing more and more in the betting odds, I know not to pay too much attention to it but it is kind of accurate often times the nearer we get to the final. Looking forward to it!!!
i think we'll have to wait until wednesday or thursday to draw better conclusions from the odds, the press/bookies have only seen half the performance in full. you saw some performances increase in the odds once more footage became available so let's wait and see what happens when semi 2 comes closer

I think for songs that would do similarly with both televote and juries, odds predicting the win is probably more accurate, whereas for songs that are leaning on one side more could mean that the odds may not predict as accurately
ESC fans just don't love rock songs,😄...

For a reason you are very strict for Cyprus, full of energy on the stage and a 17 years old dancing and singing 3 minutes which is hard to do even for professional singers. She is not Fureira, non Chanel...she is doing something different and fresh for her age not to mention they put her to open the Eurovision which is an extra stress for many...Different tastes all around. For me a song you liked a lot that is Finland is on my bottom list maybe because I don't like to watch a nude ass acting silly on a Eurovision stage...as well as Ireland...these two are my toilet break on semi 1....but again that's my opinion. Anyway, it's just a music party and I hope all the participants enjoy their time there
I think Cyprus will look very underwhelming coming right after the opening acts
Australia is in real trouble for qualification...they needed more energy and upbeat ethnic feel. Looks and sounds undersold.
