@@anteglibota9411 Actually it's now two years in a row that Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia all qualified for the Grand Final, without any help of the ex-Yugoslav neighboring countries Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia who all didn't even take part in both 2023 and 2024!

My favorite is Croatia. But I supported Serbia and Slovenia and I'm glad they made it to the final
Couldn’t have asked for a better result! I had a feeling either Ireland or Luxembourg would be announced last and then they were the last two to be called lol.
The Serbia, Portugal, Slovenia combo at the start also made me so happy!

I predicted 8 out of 10 qualifiers but preferred Azerbaijan and Australia to Cyprus and Finland. My top 5 were Portugal, Serbia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Ukraine so I'm quite happy 🫶
Silia deserved it, too much work on stage and yet flawless vocals. On the other hand Serbia is completely boring and Portugal is a song with no melody at all

Don't like Finland at all
I predicted every qualifier except Serbia over Poland. Serbia is one of my favorites, so I'm happy they got it, but Poland has almost always qualified with the televote, and this is a very diaspora-friendly semi for them + Serbia was in a tough running order position with a ballad that takes a while to build, which is ultimately why I did not list Serbia as a qualifier. Last year however, I did not put Poland as a qualifier, which did not age well. On the other hand, proud to be one of the few who had faith in Slovenia this time around.
Happy, the best acts are through. Can’t wait until semi 2! Will be so exciting 🤩
I voted for those I thought might need help; Moldova, Serbia and Slovenia. I was pleasantly surprised that two of them made it. Still don't get Luxembourg.....
I got 8/10 because I thought Slovenia was gonna NQ and Australia would Q but im not mad at all. This result is gonna make for one hell of a Grand Final. 😼

I had 9/10 right. I had Poland instead of Serbia. I’m completely shocked over Poland. Their 5 biggest diaspora voting came from this semi. Ukraine, Lithuania, Ireland, UK and Germany. WOW

Found the performance pretty weak. The song is alright, but she was so quiet and out of breath.
Yeah I'm stunned as well, Poland have literally always qualified with televote apart from Rafal, and the tower wasnt great at a but it's better than Rafal, so how on earth it didn't qualify with the strongest diaspora possible is insane

This is a SONG contest, but it seems more like a "who puts the more fireworks or strange things" contest!
People are mesmerized by the lights, the stage full of things to complement the act. They don't apreciate the melody, the quality of the song itself. We brought a masterpiece act (song and dance) we don't need "fireworks". It's sad that the contest is more about the visuals than the song.
But we're in the final, even without the votes of Spain, France, Switzerland, Belgium...

No surprize, Raiven sang way better than Luna. Luna is a good artist but in this semifinal was not enough to qualify...unfortunately. I'm honestly soory. I hoped Poland qualify. Oh, it was a difficult semifinal.

I reacted like you, I don't understand for serbia and slovenia. At least Australia deserved to qualify. They were so sweet, happy and excited on stage. Sad for them
I'd argue this was one of the best results ever in semi final. Everyone that deserved it went through. If you wanna argue about Poland and Australia; Australia was extremely underwhelming, staging was terrible, singing was flat at moments and the song is plain not good enough. Poland song is just not good enough I'm sorry, staging was kind awkward at some points and the red horse part looked absolutely atrocious, I don't understand why anyone thought it was a good idea, vocally she did well but it's like her voice is a bit weak or not loud enough. Azerbaijan song is okay but staging wise very boring, Moldova also underwhelming and I think her "clones" would have helped her a lot, Iceland while singing wise good, staging kinda boring and that song is just like 20 years too late I'm sorry.

I think the insertion of the big 5/6 would do for the earlier drawn songs. Wrong! I thought that the quality performance of Iceland would put out Finland. Wrong! I though Australia's song was strong enough to get through. Wrong, though I think they were 11th. It just slipped away in the second half of the song.
Matt, you mentioned US geoblocking...do you have Apple TV by any chance? I watched through the SVT app there. Don't know any Swedish but it's worked out well the past two years for ESC.
A lot of folks use SVT. Since I'm German, I just go to the German live stream which is available on eurovision.de

Glad for Slovenia and all the other qualifiers, but sad for Australia and low-key also for Poland because this song is popping in my head regularly. But the vocals weren't ehere they needed to be. Only second to UKs awful vocals. Australia probably would have qualified if Finland had won last year, and we've had exactly the same draw because, let's be real, Sweden wouldn't have made it. Neither would have Olly Alexander, nor would Isaak, although I gotta admit that he's got a really powerful voice. It's sad to see great songs NQ, while weaker Big 5 and host songs are automatically qualified for the final, so I'd suggest that they should also compete in the semis.

I was hoping Azerbaidjan would go through, maybe instead of the quite generic Cyprus. I liked Poland's song, but the live vocals were a bit weak. I don't really think there were bad performances at all in this semi, and it was really sad that they couldn't all qualify.
Stop talking nonsense about polish diaspora. It is myth, Eurovision results prooved it many times.
They have been a televote qualifier every year but this year and 21 it isn't a myth

I got 9 - I really didn't think Cyprus would make it with either Poland or Australia getting in instead. I'd have prefered Poland and Australia to Finland and Cyprus but I'm mostly happy. Really happy for Ireland and Serbia - i wanted Ireland through most but Serbia and Slovenia through is a win too..
9/10, thought Australia would have the queer support Over Cyprus.
