If the shuttle fails in a Zero only run you have to either play the Endgame stages as no Armour X, or you have to go back to Collect the Items you missed.

UA-cam didn't even exist in that time. seeing mega man players on UA-cam through the years have made me realize why I was such a terrible mega man player. I stopped to fight everything. I didn't have patience. I was EASILY dissuaded because when you stop to try to analyze the boss's patterns, I had to die a lot. but the mega man games always had it so you had to start the entire stage over and that was a huge detractor for me.

Man, I guess I'm biased towards the Mega Man's I grew up with on NES & SNES. MMX was the last game in the series I actually played. The X series continuation in this style is straight trash with the low res/low detailed characters and backgrounds in this cartoon anime style. I'd love to see a Redux of the original MM/a new series with Hi-res graphics with UE5.

Can somebody legitimately explain to me why anybody would like these games... This is the most ridiculous shit I've ever played. Like literally, where's the appeal? You do a minute of jumping around, battle some generic ass boss and that's it. Next level, rinse and repeat. I mean the entire playthrough is a little less than 90 minutes!!! It's hyped up like it's the god of all games and an exalted ruler of players. It literally is almost a one button game. I just don't get it. There were MASTERPIECES from that era. Compared to those this is not a game, it's an interactive cartoon.

until now. i still confused with virus meter in the left corner side. tried to get infected but i barely notice any difference 😅
Back when I played it on ps1 I thought the same lol one time I just let myself get infected and eventually X just instantly died.
with X it gives you game overs.
with zero it heals you but the more you do it you run the risk of the maverick zero ending happening early
