LaTavia, LeToya, and Kelly's voices went well with Babyface's production style. Reminds me of TLC meets Total. It should've gone like this:

I cannot tell you THANK YOU enough for spreading the love for this song! I am literally taken back to the sounds of 1999 and this sound is IT!!! The best of soulful vocal, a rock guitar riff to go with the sound. It was such a great time and era to live in; and for that I am grateful!

It's the only song where LaTavia and LeToya had verses to sing, not just backing vocals or harmonizing ...

For example, in the official songs on the album “The Writings on the Wall”, LeToya didn't sing any solo parts ... Why didn't Matthew and his team give LeToya any verses to sing ?
It's true that LaTavia and LeToya aren't as talented as Kelly Rowland and Beyonce Knowles, and that's a fact, but for example, LeToya deserved to have a few verses to sing in some of Destiny's Child's official songs and live concerts, notably those on the album “The Writings on the Wall” ... Of course, LeToya harmonized well, she was a good dancer and backing singer for the group, but I would have liked her to have a few solo parts to sing, as I find her voice interesting ... If I could go back in time, this is one of the things I'd change ... Matthew's management of Destiny's Child (DC4) has always been weird ...

Maybe when the album came out but that's it.
I use to work for universal records/Def jam recordings and they stop production on such promotions a while after the original release.
They probably stop distributing it after Both girls got kicked out.

This song was a B side of "No, No, No" Remix. I had the maxi-single CD of it. It's not from TWOTW. An overseas version of their debut album may have it.
No, no this was released specifically a bonus cd from TWOTW released in Houston. The only b-side on the No No No single was called You're The Only One when it was released in Europe, this song wasn't on there
@@Musicblue22 I'm not arguing with you at all. Just saying I grew up in Pittsburgh PA and remember this song. The only way I could have had this was on a maxi single.If it wasn't No, No, No, that it was another single that I don't recall.

I can understand that Beyonce and Kelly, especially Beyonce, were much more in the spotlight because their voices were stronger and more marketable, but that's no reason to underestimate LaTavia and LeToya, even though they are vocally less strong and less marketable than Beyonce and Kelly ... LaTavia and LeToya were very good dancers and backing singers in the group, but nevertheless, at least once, they too deserved to have a few leads ...
LaTavia sang solo parts in two songs : "Sweet sixteen", "I can't help myself" and rapped in two other songs : "Where'd you go" and "Illusion" ... LeToya sings a solo part only in the song "I can't help myself" the rest of the group's songs, she dances and sings in the background as a backing vocalist ... It's a shame ...
This could have easily made TWOTW instead of Temptation or Now That She's Gone. SMDH
