i enjoy your videos i raise dairy steers myself from 1 week to finnish there a bugger getting them out of pen when you wean them if you get the first one to go the rest will follow still better than butcher hogs

More like taps to direct them. The rattle paddle isn't anything but a plastic box with some ball bearings in it for noise. Tapping them makes the noise and gives them a physical reminder of which way to go.
