Los Angeles Public Library Overview

The Los Angeles Public Library is comprised of 72 branches, with over 1,200 employees spread throughout all the communities of LA. The center of the library system is the 73rd branch, the Central Library located in downtown LA which houses the Administrative offices and has the most extensive collections. All branches offer a variety of programs and services.
