I just want to let you know how amazing this is. Both my wife and daughter suffer from insomnia and this video has helped them so much. There is no surprises or loud noises like thunder or lightning. They sleep so much better now since I found this for both of them. I really appreciate you making this and hope you make more. Instead of watching them struggle with medication , I can now watch them sleep peacefully instead of suffering. This gets them through every night....THANK YOU!!😊

I love there’s no thunder. Sudden thunder or drastic change in pitch seems to startle my mind awake. I personally gravitate toward sounds like this one here for sleep. I love that I can hear actual separate rain drops hitting the ground. Sounds like this when I close my eyes sounds exactly like when it actually rains. So for me I love the rain drops and not just plain white noise. In fact, I have a white noise machine I’m weaning away from. I tend to have to have sound 24/7. Not loud but silence seems to make me start thinking too much where it is or is like adhd where my mind starts to race with daily thoughts, to do lists etc. In the day I tend to have to have whether the tv or music so I can focus on what I’m working on. If it’s night it’s rain drops for relaxing sleep, if it’s daytime and cleaning or working in the yard/garden that’s when I have headphones on with very upbeat faster paced music which seems to bump up my energy and keep my energy from going low to where I feel lazy. Evening can be a movie or tv series if I want to block out regular life and just have a good time watching something. If working on things like reading, I keep the tv on but I change it to boring tv shows so I have sound but not enough for me to have to pay attention to it. Hope that all made sense.
I also figured out for sleep I have to have the rain sound fairly loud. It’s just not so loud that my husband can’t sleep. He is the total opposite where he can falls asleep in seconds and can sleep with zero sound. He doesn’t probably believe it but he does seem to sleep better when white noise is on because our kids Olaf video games and he tosses and turns when the kids are loudly talking to their friends as they play online.
My kids used to sleep with white noise as babies but they sleep without sound on other then they fall asleep while they listen to podcasts or UA-cam videos.
I tried going to sleep without white noise and tossed and turned all night. I deal with chronic pain so it’s tough to have a good night sleep but with hearing rain sounds I can at least get some sleep. About to take a nap, unfortunate side effects of chronic pain and putting this on sounds very very nice thank you!!!

Listening to the rain and wearing a sleep mask helps me tremendously. You can get a mask at the dollar store, the best buck you’ll ever spend. 😎

I’ve tried so many types of rain sounds, most have caused a slight issue with the higher pitch. I ran across this one and what a difference! I’m very sensitive to certain sounds and I eventually have to turn it off. I also don’t sleep well, average time per night is at best 3 1/2 hours. I hear every noise at night and I get extremely agitated. I’m 68 years old and I’ve had severe migraines since the age of 12 and I’m light sensitive and noise sensitive. I am listening to this and I’m so impressed. This caused me to relax and I just drifted off to sleep. Well done. I highly recommend this for those who have migraines or minds that just won’t settle. Thank you.

Don't know if this will help you: I have had migraines as well sense being a kid. I drink a cup of strong black tea, steep 2 bags in a coffee cup (no sweetner) and take 2 aspirins, that pretty much do it for me. Taking only one aspirin might be all you need at times. I can't sleep with a migraine and it makes my stomach sick where often times I feel like I will throw up. The tea seems to calm that feeling down. I hope this helps. Take care!
New subscriber here! I actually have been using soothing music to fall asleep to, and sometimes rain... But I actually use this video for something different; I have a husband and 4 young boys at home, so it's hard to get a quiet moment to clear my head, let alone calm enough to do my prayer time! This video is perfect! Soothing, beautiful rain😊🤗🙏I use it so my ADD and scattered brain can calm down enough so I can focus and get my prayer/Bible time done! So thanks for making this! God bless!

This is one of my favorite sounds to go to sleep to. I've been listening to this every night, my kids love it too and it's helped them relax and sleep. Especially after so much screen time. My daughter said she felt refreshed the next morning. She went to sleep feeling anxious and filled with anxiety but this has helped. It's helped me too. This is one of the best that I've heard so far. I love the sound of just rain, sometimes I like the thunder too, but the rain by itself is sooo relaxing. Keep the sound of the rain steady, it really helps that way with no surprises that'll make you start all over again with relaxing.

Hi Colin, I live in rain land - Seattle. You have the best rain sound channel. I've
tried listening to the big million subscribers and views channels. It seemed to me the videos were replaying the same sounds with just a different title. Their sounds were mainly rain slapping the surface. Distracting and not sleep inducing. They were not peaceful, realistic, moderately falling rain like yours. Everybody has a personal preference. Maybe even different needs based on their day before bed. But, I think being lulled to sleep with your recording of lovely melodic falling rain works the best. THANKS! 😴

Very soothing. Not heavy and hard rain which tends to make me more anxious and in turn less sleep. This makes you feel like you're right there under the rain however not getting wet obviously! We use your rain sounds during nap time at the preschool in which I teach and manage. It helps all the children sleep better and for the amount of time allowed each day.

Advertisement woke me after a couple of hours!!!! This had been my favorite recording for sleeping because the sound is perfect. But now that you’re inserting ads I don’t dare use it again. Once awakened like that, I can’t get back to sleep, which defeats the purpose of using the recording. Very sad. This was the best sound.
So sorry the ads woke you up. Normally, I only activated ads at the start and end of each video. I am surprise u have ads in the middle of the video. Can it be u stopped the video and started it again. I am so sorry for the inconvenience.
