I've ran forklifts and other hydraulic based machinery for 40 yrs. I have a tuned ear to the 'draw' or how much power is being drawn on the hydraulics and/or the rpm of the motor. To get a 1500 pound log/tree off the ground so I can safely cut without getting my saw pinched will be incredible. L2501 is what I'm saving for.
@@chasewebber4316 Went 'green'. 3032E. Working it hard, but it's been great, aside from the re-gen. If I upgrade to a bigger machine it'll definitely be a model before those.
Someone should forward this video to TTWT. Love my L2501, fantastic bang for the buck. I have a family member who owns a JD1025 and I honestly can say I like the L2501 better. I have size 14W feet and the treadle pedal on the Kubota guarantees that I can’t accidentally hit both pedals or the wrong one like I have on the JD.
I picked up 6 semi tires with clamp on forks which is roughly 900lbs half way is as far as it would lift. So, good to know even with the weight so fat out it was still close
I know this video is around 1 year old .... but firsr off ... isnt the bsllast weight sitting on the ground (its hard to tell but i didnt notice it move when the tractor moved from lifting n lowering. It has to be hanging in the air to do any good 🤔. Also (its hard to tell but) it seemed like the rpm's were only up a little, not necessarily at the highest rpm you wud run it for a heavy load/heavy work. Like it says in the begonning of the video " we have no idea what we are doing" i agree. Peformed .... performed .
Great video that's definitely impressive if I had watched your video before I'd prolly bought a 2501 Instead of my Mahindra 1626 but it does a fine job. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun
i need a tractor capable of lifting 2500 lbs of soil bags+the heavy duty pallet using forks attached to the bucket i also want to be able to use my 4.5-4.75 foof diameter brine filled rear tyres my current one is 24 hp and 58 lb-ft of torque which is not enough
My L2501 wouldn’t even come close to lifting that weight! Barely lift 1000# ….I bought a pallet full of tile in individual 30# boxes. Added them all up and weighed about 860# …wasn’t Impressed.
First, make sure you have good counterbalance on the back of the tractor. Second make sure your RPMS are all the way up! Third, try to get the load as close to the back of the pallet forks as possible, the further away from the tractor the harder it is to lift.
Yes, the back tires are fluid filled. Make sure yours are and that there is a counter ballast on the back. If it still won’t lift that amount, you probably need to get your hydraulic pressures checked at a shop.
@@kubotaoflynchburg Thank you, I had a box blade on ... the tractor seems under-powered and light to the point I can see where a novice operator could get into trouble pretty quickly. I can't say I think very much of regen cycles, with only 30 hour's on the little critter ... I'm still getting to know it's in's and outs. I just didn't need a big tractor anymore ... Thank you again for the reply.
Why don’t you show us how hard it is to get a full bucket of dirt from a semi packed pile of sandy loam instead explaining the technical reasons? I have extremely disappointed along with many others on how much dirt Kubota allows us to pick up. My old Kubota 2003 33 hp would allow me at least drive into the same pile. I couldn’t always lift the bucket simply because the rear tires would be lifted but I could get a full bucket. Shame on Kubota!
You need a lot of rear weight on any brand to drive around w 1000 lbs that far foward. Physics. Not ability. My crappy jd 2025 r will carry almost anything around w backhoe on the back!
This is my next piece of equipment. I rented one to unload a dumpster into another dumpster. In the words of Kanye West. Wait till I get my money right. This tractor is a beast. Stay tuned 😎👍🤙☝️🤜🤛✅
Thanks for video. I would like hearing the engine working instead of the music though..
Love my L2501 and always new it could lift higher than the rated amount. This is a great test, thank you!
I'm about to buy one of these. You had me worried at first with the 850 ish rating. Now I'm just impressed.
My 2501 is awesome and it does SO MUCH. Backhoe (w/mechanical thumb) is really incredible too!

That's exactly what I do with mine when sawing logs. hold the log on the forks and saw from the ends just off the ground, works great
Did u get one yet?

You should see the logs I have lifted with the backhoe attachment. Super strong machine.

something must be wrong with mine. It maxed out at 1100. Mine was idling though, so maybe that was why.
Try idling it up to around 2200RPM and test it there. Although each loader may be slightly different based on factory specifications.
got mine to get 1600 off the ground, just wanted to see if it could pick two big squares and the spear. i wouldnt drive with it but it did lift lol
Great Test!! Also the pallet forks survived the test also as that model is rated for 1242lbs.
We figured we might as well test the pallet forks at the same time, since those are the ones we sell with the L series! Good thing they did hold up!
I move around 1100 lbs round bales with mine but I only lift them a foot off the ground
Good thing Chris is there for counter weight 😂
How high will the bucket go in the air? Measurement from the ground to the bottom of bucket maxed out ?

About 1030 lb from the pinpoints

Great video
Please do the same thing with the lx3310! 🙏
I think my BX is only rated for about 450lbs LOL. That Lseries could just about lift a BX.
What an absolute beast.
Mine will stack 5x5 round bales two high.
Lift it and then drive it around.....

That means you need to jump up to utility class tractor! No L series will do what you need.

My L3301 won't lift anywhere near that ... i guess i should have bought a smaller tractor🙄
Do the rear tires have ballast?
Yes, the back tires are fluid filled. Make sure yours are and that there is a counter ballast on the back. If it still won’t lift that amount, you probably need to get your hydraulic pressures checked at a shop.

Yes the rear tires were fluid filled which I highly recommend on any tractor with a loader!
Could you do an "actual lift test" on an L3560?
Are you looking for the LA555 loader lift or the LA805 loader lift? That tractor can come with either loader option.

We'll get a video on that one made and get it up as soon as we can!

Just posted! ua-cam.com/video/_SSmX71noGQ/v-deo.html
Idk about this my 2501 will barely lift 1000 off the grounds
Your ballast is sitting on the ground.
100lbs more than my b series.
Lol. Reason you sped video must be no avoid just how slow the flow from pump is.
I'll save you alot of time,it's about 1000 lbs. give or take.
That's weak AF 😂 This is why I bought a Branson
