    Great tips, thanks! I am trying to bake more interesting reflections, can you please explain about the reflection pass you mentioned for unity or unreal.. didn’t quite get that part. Thank you

    Having real issues of it really not looking the same when I render the maps out, far too bright, even though its in the same environment.

    Hey there, are you planning to port the plug in for Cinema 4D? I am using Corona but of course with the correct 3D Software. ^^

    Hi, amazing tutorial and very helpful plugin. I´ve tried it with my scene but seems like the corona beauty doesn't render correctly.
    I mean colour, the texture is fine, but I think the light is not that bright as I see it in my classic perspective view from corona camera output. You think it may be some bad render settings? I know it´s hard to understand my issue when not seeing the scene directly, but anyway, if you are familiar with this issue, I´ll be glad if you can help. Thank you.

      Hello, this can be 100 reasons for it. Wrong gamma setting for saving image, your are watching the VFB (which is not what is rendered as texture), there are high reflective surfaces which reflect something during baking etc etc. UA-cam is definitely not a serious place to do customer support. We have 24/7 support for customers at info@3d-plugin.com or in our discord channel, please contact us there so we can do it swiftly. thanks!

    I use redshift, what aovs should I bake except for reflections, I want my reflections to be handled in unreal using sphere captures, just like in your corona example

      Hello. I think I do not understand the question. Unreal Sphere captures are realtime, Corona is not realtime, you can not apply this method inside corona, you have to add it like in Unreal. Or did I understand the question wrong? please customer support at info@3d-plugin.com or our discord, I am not every day here in this youtube. thanks!

    Hi! Is this plugin capable to bake like Substance Painter to create an asset with PBR textures?

    • @3dioplugins

      Hello. Flatiron is 3dsmax plugin, it is not SubstancePainter plugin. You can in Substance Painter bake your PBR textures.

    Hi! Do you know if it's possible to render de Rounded Edges into normal map in Corona? Thanks!

    • @3dioplugins
      @3dioplugins  4 роки тому +2

      Hello. Hm, good question. RoundedEdges are rendered during runtime, it is an "effect", not a piece of topology information if I am not wrong. Can you render it with classic render-to-texture in 3dsmax? If yes, then it can be done.
      best regards

    Hey, I have a question to texture baking in general. I baked a scene with vray and the result was good. But if I look close u can see black lines at the edges of some objects. I detached some objects but they are perfectly alligned but I still have the weird black edges. Is it somehow possible to get rid of them?

      Hello could you solve your problem?

    • @3dioplugins
      @3dioplugins  4 роки тому

      Hello. The customers have 24/7 support directly via mail. It is not very often that I come here and read youtube comments.
      The black borders are classic texture baking issues. There are at least 7 things that come into my mind when I start thinking about what has caused this result in your case. Starting from low-resolution texture display in the viewport of your 3dsmax, over MipMapping Problem in your 3dEgnige (you have not specified where this occurs), to bad padding setting. I need more input to solve the problem.
      thanks
      best regards
