That guy thought he could intimidate you by saying he was calling the owner but you didn’t back down and handled it like the pro that you are. He was probably calling his mama.😂
The fact that you THOUGHT the guy was trying to intimidate shows that you're an idiot. Especially since the property owner told the guy one thing and dustin was told another.
Great job as always! You're a good guy so I know you feel bad, but I'm sure this guy had ample time and multiple warnings to move his car. It's really on him.
I used to live in Surfside back in 1982 thru 1983. You driving over that bridge brings back good ole memories. I lived at 55 blue water Hwy. Hurricane Alicia wiped out the Campground. I remember driving over that bridge every day on my way to Brazosport High school. That marina wasn’t there back then.
Do you ever consider wearing a lightweight tactical knife-proof vest? One with a mount for a Go-Pro. Seems like that might give you some extra protection from the crazies and help document their actions. Glad you got out of there safely. Must be a tough situation because you're viewed as the bad guy.
I’ve thought about it. Probably wouldn’t run a body cam tho. The video quality is trash unless you like looking at the steering wheel, side of the truck, or the ground.
There are some decent people out there only a few bad ones that pull a gun or beat us up over it . Just be safe while towing . A lot of tow truck companies here we all have a code if a tow truck driver needs help we come to the rescue .
Hey Dustin, I usually never comment on videos, but just did recently on one of yours. If you had your flatbed on this call, would have been better. One thing for certain, wouldn't have to think about the passenger rear tire going down the road. A flatbed, always solves that situation. On the bed, then do the road to the destination. I found your channel about 2 weeks ago. I've been watching Ron Pratt for a couple of years. Wish I could talk to both you guys, somehow? As we always said in the towing business, be safe!
I wished I’d have had my flatbed on this one too. Not having to worry about condition is a big reason why I prefer a flatbed over a wheel lift truck. As for contacting me, I’m on most forms of social media. Feel free to shoot me a DM!
These car owners are liars and manipulators. I've dealt with so many cases where the property owner calls and is like "we've been asking them 10 times a day for the last year to move the car." The car owner comes out and tells the tow truck driver "oh, I'm best friends with the property owner and they said I can park it here forever"
The hood was buckled, the body had rust spots on it, that clumsy old tarp looked worn out, too. Why try to save it?. Nothing like a junker to make some people act crazy.
You kept your cool, and was reasonably polite with the vehicle’s owner!
Thanks. I try!

As you say there are two sides to every story. Thank goodness nothing bad happened and it went relatively well. Awesome repo😮

An old car with a car cover, I thought it’s a sport car or something. 😂 No more cover for him! Good Job!
I’m really impressed that neither one of you got mad at the other one
What good would that have done?
@@Towtruck_Dustin absolutely none
That job can definitely be stressful sometimes. I think you handled it though. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
Imagine still owing payments on a shitbox like this...
Guy needs to Understand he’s on Private Property and Property Owner says Tow it. 👍

Thanks!
Good Job Dustin. You have great de-escalation skills

Yep. Last ditch effort to stop it from being towed.
sometimes you just have to do, what you have to do..lol
You got your truck back
Best vids these in the pick up
Awesome job
Thank you
That Nissan is junk and it should be in the junk yard.
Great video like always!😊
Good one 👍😊
I hate those type of jobs. We usually try to have an officer there with us. The tow bill gonna probably be more than what that car is worth lol
Come to chicago the officers will laugh if you call lol 😂
Yeah, I’ll never called him just for us picking it up. I have had to call them a few times while on scene, or at the yard releasing it, however.
@@Leotheconstructionguy lol. I got relatives there. Cops don't do anything there lol

I used to get these all the time. Should have moved it when told to that's all I can say
The car paint is much better in Europe. Then in America.😆

Thanks!
you have to do what youre told or lose your job
I've been there before some of the people are not violent and most are
Baby seat? Dustin has a baby congrats!
That’s actually my bosses truck. I was only driving it for a little while while my Kenworth was in the shop.
Hey Dustin is Campbell's hiring at the moment
Not at the moment. We’re fully staffed.
Nice
Did he ever collected his car or did it get scrapped
I think that was just a few days ago
Yeah, this happened a few days ago.
As far as I’m aware, he hasn’t came back for it
The storage fees adding up
