Hi there! Thanks for the feedback👍 The name of the company we used is Extreme Signs. They were great to deal with and they do all the signage for the Surf Life Saving Clubs inflatables on the Gold Coast

That looks like a bugger to start mate. I felt it when the handle came out of your hand. OUCH!!!!

Yes we’re going to be doing the same thing. Were you happy with the performance? 😀

@ yes the difference with the prop was night and day , mine was pretty much un useable with a standard propellor it slipped and cavitated the whole time , engine height is crucial I have the old style transome wich I’ve had to lift the motor up about 30mm to get it to work properly

  • @gravis00

Nice that you have the newer transom. We have the Navigator 400 with a Suzuki 20. Great setup.

We did look at the transom on this newer model before we bought it to improve the position of the motor. Very happy with our choice 😀👍

I hope your getting sponsorship from Bunnings. The boat looks great. I cant believe Heather didn't have a bottle of Champagne, two bottles next time.

      @teamd-tour  7 місяців тому

No Bunnings sponsorship just a bloody good hat! The Champagne came later, off camera 🥂🙃

Have you taken her out in some choppy water? Would be interested to see how it handles it.
Im looking into them and unsure on whether to go navigator or discovery model.
Enjoying your content, keep it up

We’re heading down to South Australia coastline. Hope to really put the Discovery to the test! Stay tuned. 😀👍

Looks good. Do you load the boat on top of your truck by yourself? Just trying to judge how much work that would be and if one guy can handle it himself.

Thanks for your comment😀 We’ve opted for using a trailer mounted crane to put the deflated boat in its bag in the trailer along with the outboard. Check out our recent video showing modifications to our farm trailer 😀

We have them in the boat. Only need them for open water. We were in a waterway. Gold Coast canals. 😀

USA Dan here. I’m 77 years old and a boater for 60 years. I never go at any speed without a life jacket on, even in shallow water. Always, always, even when idling hook up your kill switch. You never know when something or someone else could put you into a serious situation. It will save your life.
We are RV people and a 330 Discovery will be in the garage very soon with my other boats. Thanks for the video…. enjoyed them!

@@boater18281 Thanks for your comments USA Dan and your wise advice which we will definitely follow from now on. Sometimes you can become a little too complacent when you're having so much fum! Great to hear you're enjoying the channel content.

When you are fishing it’s hard to wear a life jacket for very long especially if it’s hot weather. Fishing in cold weather wear it. If you idle while moving down a bank you should be safe enough without it. Anytime you are going to run to another spot that’s when your kill switch should be attached to your jacket, also while fishing in really rough water. Catch one for me! 🎣😎

@@boater18281 Thanks for your comment! Life Jackets can be a nuisance at times especially when fishing. I guess it depends on the level of risk you're prepared to take and the prevailing conditions 👍😀

Maybe try an electric outboard? Much easier to start
