Hi Garry and Heather, I have the same boat and motor. 3 things I did for the best performance after a lot of trial and error - definitely a hydrofoil like Permatrim, glue on like on TrueKits UA-cam channel. Try the motor trim to first hole or 2nd. And the Prop. I've tried 4 different ones from 4 blade, 3 blade - and found the 9.25 inch by 10inch best - aluminium and SS, SS was best. I basically get no ventilation now. Enjoy the adventures!
Hey Garry. I have the same boat and same engine and really enjoy it. I think I have cavitation issues too and was thinking of getting an "Se Sport 200 Hydrofoil" for it. What is your plan? Also what trim position do you usually set your engine at? I too use a tarp for setup and pack down just to avoid picking up dirt and rocks. Thanks for the Vid.
Yes I think that hydrofoil will be the go. The trim position I usually set straight up but I will look further at it and see if it helps with the cavitation. And I will definitely be using a tarp front now on! Glad you enjoyed the vid.
I’ve just started researching the True Kit inflatables, one bloke put a tarp down as he was packing it up to help keep the dirt off , that’d probably work with shell grit too I reckon. I’m enjoying your adventures, safe travels😊
Hi Garry and Heather, thanks for sharing your great adventures. We loved it down there. Have you gone to Perlubie Beach yet? We spent over 2 weeks there. Chris was out on the Kayak fishing for calamari every day.
Very interesting video. We are thinking about getting a Tru Kit for our travels. Can I ask how long does it take to pack up when you are being pedantic about getting rid of the red dust, and how long does it 'usually' take?
It took about 90 mins with the cleaning, also getting it off the trailer took up time plus talking to the camera 😀 We’ve only used the boat once before so we’re not really up to speed with unpacking and packing up. We think once we get used to it and 2 people are involved it should take us 30-45 mins. We saw a video where it took someone 20mins😀
💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍
No advice, no criticism, just happy to see you guys with smiles on your dials! 😁
Thanks 🦋👍

Thanks for commenting. We’re going to get the Permatrim but as yet haven’t looked at blades. Thanks for your advice!
Hi Garry , do they sell this boat in Florida

I could not tell....are you in the habit of using your kill switch tether?
You’ve got a keen eye! No. I just completely forgot. 😵💫
