Honestly the fight was pretty balanced, but I'm surprised the swordfigher didn't spam side-b to my knowledge it's really good. As for the steve they could've saved their final smash for later as the swordfigher was already high percent, but I digress. Play how you wanna play and I'll stay upset over the fact smash bros. can't take captures.
