I've had many, many piano teachers that told me that "you can't play that", "it's too difficult for you". I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER shy away from a piece of music that I love no matter what it is. I did not stay with those piano teachers very long. As an amateur piano hobbyist I need to play the music no matter how it sounds, just to get the music into my DNA.

Brahms concerti are amazing !
I don't know how much you like Brahms music but you are very lucky to be able to play it with an orchestra.
Not there in my piano journey but your advice are always useful for other pieces.
Will we have a little video of the concert ?
