Yeah, and the fact that I have to win the match to advance is why, although I still play this game, I prefer Metal Slug 3.
I beat the bosses in the last 2 kof games, excluding heroines, and i must say, most of the time i need to use the option of reducing the bosses hp by 50-75% before beating the game, although in xiv i improved so much that i even wreck using the complex character normals mostly.
I really missed this arcade games those days I was in amusement those highschool days

Is the CPU as crazy as the one on the Anthology version or is more playable , meaning you can actually beat the game with one credit??
Just as difficult, since the PS4 versions are based off the MVS versions, aka the versions you played at the arcades. The Anthology is based off the home AES versions, which were just as brutally difficult as the arcade versions.
It's the same AI, same difficulty and same exploits from the Arcade times in the 90s, for example hitting Amakusa jist one time on the first round and keep jumping and attacking in the air on the corner of the screen, making Amakusa do the same thing and losing because of the time running out.😂
