I am a Kannadiga and Hindi was my second language in school. In 2009 I toured Rajasthan and Gujarat for three months. I picked up books by Faiz, Iqbal, Bachchan Sr, Kaifi Azmi etc. Later back in Bangalore I started reading these books. After a month or so.... as I was reading 'kar chale hum fida jaan-o-tan sathiyo' by Kaifi Azmi poem.... without my conscious knowledge tears rolled down...
That was a joyous moment.

It's a big shame that respect and humanity do not exist here. You were absolutely right in your original decision to not let your son join the army. He made the ultimate sacrifice to save others only to be betrayed by people he thought were his own.

After 11 years of his sacrifice only telugu film industry came up and made a movie on major sandeep. Bollywood dont even remember him i think. Where is akshay and john gangs they did not find it profitable to do his biopic, if bollywood can do biopic of criminals like haseena parkar and mangubai gangubai then why not heroes like sandeep.
