It took several years before I rescued two little little dogs, one white shitsu-chi mix and a black little but mighty ...chihuahua. They are my fur babies and We are a happy little loving family.
I remember when my beautiful cat got knocked over and unfortunately died, the next day a woman in the street who breeds cats, knocked on my door and asked if i wanted "to buy a kitten to get over the loss of my cat". The kittens are beautiful may the 3 of you make lots of lovely memories
Black cats are considered good luck in many cultures. It was the hateful witch hunters who mislabeled them in the same way they did women healers and those who were different. They are blessed to have you as their mum. If they start tossing that litter about you can always get a covered litter box. I had one of those covered (tepee style) cat beds for my wee Chihuahua years ago on the bed as I was afraid I'd knock her off in the night. Next, I had a wicker basket in which I put a human-size bed pillow. I covered it with a bin bag although you can get waterproof pillow protective cases. Then I cover it with a pretty pillowcase. It is easier to wash out a pillow case and blanket than a whole pet bed. I also went to a children's charity shop and bought an infant's bathtub for my Chihuahua who is older now. I did the same thing for her with the pillow and blanket. I found washing the store-bought pet beds is a hassle especially if they are sick in the middle of the night and they always seem to lose their shape. The wee bathtub is sturdy, can be rinsed out in the shower and the side walls are protective of my elderly Chi on the bed at night. Your babies are adorable. They are still exploring I imagine. Such an adventure after being in a small cage compared to having a whole house at their disposal.
Since moving to New Mexico almost 3 years ago, I have lost the three pets I moved here with. (2 were old, one got sick) I have new pets now. Nothing heals a broken heart like a kitten or two.
All I could think of is ‘What two lucky kitties these are to be scooped up by this Mama! What a grand life they are going to have!’ Congratulations !! 🩷💙🩷💙
They are just lovely. I'm always happy to see people get at least two cats, they really need a friend to play with. It took me over 15 years after my cat passed away to get to where I felt like I could get another pet. I saw a little tuxedo boy about to be returned to the pound because the owner would not be able to keep him. I suddenly realized that he needed me and I needed him. We found another cat just a couple weeks later and they rule the house. You are right, when the time is right you will know.
I have 2 that I got after my 16 year old westie passed. My tabby is snooty but so pretty. My all black boy is handsome and so, so sweet. Your babies are adorable! 😊

Congratulations!!! It takes time to open our hearts to new fur babies after we've lost one. It took me over a year. Also, when my mom passed away a few years ago we had an etching of a dog and a cat in each corner and "Across the Rainbow Bridge" engraved on her headstone because we knew all of her past fur babies were there waiting for her.

I'm still awaiting the right time to adopt again. I had 5 and the last girl died in my daughters arms aged 18 a year and a half ago. Broke our hearts. Still get emotional thinking about it. Miss having cats but the thought of losing one again.... I'm not ready for that. Your New babies are just gorgeous and settled so fast. It was meant to be!!

We just found out that our sweet 20 year old cat is in the final stage of renal failure. It is so devastating. Although we have always had cats, we are afraid to adopt another one because we are older and the cat could outlive us. We were so blessed to have this amazing cat for so long. I enjoyed watching the kittens. Best of luck with them! ❤️

Congratulations on your new babies! During Covid I took in three abandoned kittens (left in the desert in a box to die!), and once they were healthy and less traumatized, they were crazy! But that also meant they were fun and loving and impossible to imagine separating from each other! Now, I’m a five cat household and seeing your kittens makes me baby hungry!!!

I am presently fostering a three legged cat - her owners became homeless when a tree fell on their home. She was born like this and she has a front leg like a T Rex's complete with a couple of claws! She is a 'Torby" (body of a Tortoiseshell but head and legs of a Tabby) and I am in awe of her plucky nature despite her handicap. I am definitely open to adopting her should her owners find no landlords will accept pets and this is happening frequently where we live and rentals are so expensive and rare. These two kittens are so lucky to have you as their Mum.
The black cat 🐈⬛ negativity sadly extends to black dogs 🐕🦺 who are also adopted less. I’ve had both and I love both. All animals deserve a good and loving home no matter what they look like. So happy for you!
I love your kittens. I have two 13 year olds and one 9 year old. I just rescued a 7 week old and I have never had a kitten like this one. He had a serious eye infection when I found him and vet had to remove it. But he is such a ball of energy. Bigger cats are trying to hide from him to get some peace. I love, love cats. They are amazing creatures.
Those for tuxedo cats I talked about we thought about fostering them and then finding them homes but four people and four cats we each fell in love with a different one so they never left our house

Best cat I’ve ever had was ginger. He just loved humans more like a dog than any cat I had known, he was so gentle with my kids. I miss my gingerbread boy. Watched while cuddling my puppy, people need pets but it took me two years from my old girl passing before I could get a new dog. You never stop missing them.

Glad you will be home for awhile as you will be able to train them not to climb up to certain areas like the fireplace mantle… yes they can be trained lol. You might want another bed upstairs. We have a low cupboard that is deep and too awkward to use for much, so we took one door off and put the covered litter box in there. It is the Potty Palace. 👑👑

Eeeeeek I've been looking forward to this weeks video. Let the shenanigans begin, there is nothing purer than watching kittens play and tumble about. Oh i remember the " nope, im not eating that" moments after they've been mad about that food for days, and then allover sudden nope not that one 😂 our cats loved lily's pantry soft food and soups 🫶 when we lost our older cat Kosha we were heartbroken, but our boy Mojo was such comfort for us. Few years later when he became ill, we nursed and loved him for a year, before we knew is time to let him go. It completely broke our hearts. Only now 3 years later, in the past 2-3 months we've started talking about adopting bonded pair. When they die you are left bereft, and it can take long time to grieve 💖

My middle granddaughter fosters and of course she failed... she now has several permanent adoptees. 😊 I'm more than a teeny bit jealous since it's not safe for us to have a furbaby due to my husband's Parkinson's, and I still miss our boy who crossed the bridge several years ago, so I will enjoy your two little siblings vicariously. I am presently fostering a three legged cat - her owners became homeless when a tree fell on their home. She was born like this and she has a front leg like a T Rex's complete with a couple of claws! She is a 'Torby" (body of a Tortoiseshell but head and legs of a Tabby) and I am in awe of her plucky nature despite her handicap. I am definitely open to adopting her should her owners find no landlords will accept pets and this is happening frequently where we live and rentals are so expensive and rare. These two kittens are so lucky to have you as their Mum.
The black cat 🐈⬛ negativity sadly extends to black dogs 🐕🦺 who are also adopted less. I’ve had both and I love both. All animals deserve a good and loving home no matter what they look like. So happy for you!
I love your kittens. I have two 13 year olds and one 9 year old. I just rescued a 7 week old and I have never had a kitten like this one. He had a serious eye infection when I found him and vet had to remove it. But he is such a ball of energy. Bigger cats are trying to hide from him to get some peace. I love, love cats. They are amazing creatures.
Those for tuxedo cats I talked about we thought about fostering them and then finding them homes but four people and four cats we each fell in love with a different one so they never left our house

We adopted our two boys in 2020, shortly after our Indiana Bones passed away. We weren’t going to jump right in, but our dog was pining for her friend, and a 4-H friend had a batch of oopsie kittens.

I still have her sister Shadow (my black kitty). I need to find her a brother. I want a white boy cat... I've never had a boy. It's time. I'm God Cat mom to an orange boy cat and I'm so in love. I can live in a house full of cats! My first angel Mittens was white too.They are still my babies, just in heaven. We never really lose them. They stay in our hearts forever. Lots of love.🙏♥️🌹

Best cat I’ve ever had was ginger. He just loved humans more like a dog than any cat I had known, he was so gentle with my kids. I miss my gingerbread boy.
Watched while cuddling my puppy, people need pets but it took me two years from my old girl passing before I could get a new dog. You never stop missing them.

We.fostered for a girl in college. We still miss the doggie we cared for, but she was worth the heartache, as she wasthe best we have known, and came at a time she was needed.

I had to go back and find the video about your beloved Blondie. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost both my dogs within 3 months of each other. It is too sad even now. But these kitties will bring you joy for years to come.

I love the cat bowls and toys. They will settle in and be so happy. Glad you will be home for awhile as you will be able to train them not to climb up to certain areas like the fireplace mantle… yes they can be trained lol.
You might want another bed upstairs. But I’m sure they will be sleeping on the bed with you. Kittens are such fun as I’ve had two in the past, but now I have a dog only.

We have a low cupboard that is deep and too awkward to use for much, so we took one door off and put the covered litter box in there. It is the Potty Palace. 👑👑

Our Pepsi Cola is so sweet. She's black as well and a rescue. She was so tiny when we found her. But my granddaughter moved out on her own and took her. So we miss her so much.

Eeeeeek I've been looking forward to this weeks video. Let the shenanigans begin, there is nothing purer than watching kittens play and tumble about. Oh i remember the " nope, im not eating that" moments after they've been mad about that food for days, and then allover sudden nope not that one 😂 our cats loved lily's pantry soft food and soups 🫶 when we lost our older cat Kosha we were heartbroken, but our boy Mojo was such comfort for us. Few years later when he became ill, we nursed and loved him for a year, before we knew is time to let him go. It completely broke our hearts. Only now 3 years later, in the past 2-3 months we've started talking about adopting bonded pair. When they die you are left bereft, and it can take long time to grieve 💖
So happy for you! ❤ it is one of the hardest decisions I had to make, and I’m so glad you cautioned to do it in your own time and not someone else’s. Enjoy this phase of their life…they are so very lucky to have you ❤️
